Not a lot of place even let you use there toilet I have ibs and my bladder Is very weak so when I need to go I really need to go or ill have an accident and it happened in a shop as they refused for me to go

We'd like to reassure you that this is not a common response to the card, but we do know that there are still people out there that are either unable to help, or less informed of bladder and bowel conditions. Our mission is to educate shops and staff, in fact we have a special campaign running - it just takes time for people to adapt. If you'd like, we can contact the shop independently (with not mention of this conversation) and see if we can support their staff with further information. Hi there Adine, Thank you for your review, we're sorry if you found the process a bit tricky - we're working on making this easier, we appreciate your feedback at this time and thank you for your patience. The Just Can't Wait Card is accepted fairly widely, of course, it does rely on patience and understanding from the person you're asking - we recommend only using it in an emergency, and remembering that toilets are made available at the venue's discretion. Most people find the card helps them access a toilet in times of need, so we hope you have a similar experience. Hi I have tried to download the Just can’t wait to my iPhone but it only downloads to a pdf that I cannot open and does not go into the wallet ?? Any ideas as to why! Thanks

My bowels are alright its just my bladderas I constantly am wetting my self and feeling embarrassed about it when I am out

In the first instance we urge you to visit your GP - you can request to see a female doctor or nurse if you prefer, who will help diagnose your condition and find the right treatment for you. You can also self-refer to some continence clinics depending on your area. Communication was a problem and I never got to explain that I am unable to self-catheterise owing to my disabilities They thought Simon and I live together, this is not the case!.

I tried a number of times to get either the app or the card and every time I tried I got so far and it said I would either get an email or text how to carry on but I never got either

We have triggered the email to go to you again - simply follow the instructions in the email, and you should be guided to download your card and add to wallet. I ordered a new card, as I lost my purse which my card was in, yet I have not received it, I have Diverticulitis, and have not been out since loosing my original card..... 😢

Not great and it doesn't help when they shut the toilets for cleaning because then other toilets are closed because the shop or cafe are closed at the weekend or the town hall is closed

Hi there Vikki, We very much understand. This is a long journey that requires people in all situations to show compassion and patience. The recent pandemic has not helped the situation but we are seeing positive developments in this area. We're constantly working to raise the issues around the difficulties that people face when living with a bladder and/or bowel condition and to ensure the card is better recognised. Takes too long to find bar code ( in all)... goes to Google pay....instead of seperate.

Hi there Joy, We're sorry to hear you've had trouble - the Just Can't Wait card relies on GPay as an app to 'sit' in, as this is the best way we can make it available to anyone with a smartphone. If you'd rather a separate card, you are welcome to purchase a plastic card - simply apply via post with a small payment, and we'll send your card out to you directly.
