“I joined up with these clowns today, had my 50 free spins and won just over £9, I opted for a Tesco voucher...because of this I got £2 extra so I was able to opt for a £10 Tesco voucher which said I would receive in 2mins with £1.30 still left as credit on my account...I never got that token at all!...instead I got an email saying that my account had been closed which is inline with terms and conditions (as an excuse)....it looks to me like they didn't want me to win this money so they cancelled my account instead, no other reason...I'd literally just joined up! Then I saw many other identical reviews everywhere about betfair! If I had won nothing, my account would be fine! Absolute scammers...avoid at all cost! Date of experience: 19 October 2023”

“Stay well away from this corrupt company spent well over 800 pounds in 2 weeks don't think I've wan more than 20pounds you ain't going to win anything there just out to scam you and don't even bother trying to talk to the help chat online cause half of them are just brain dead or something you ask a question yet they respond with a totally different answer to what you had asked in the beginning”

“Asked my son to write this review I wanted to increase my funds limit to 3k from 1k was asked to provide self assessment as well as proof of funds and documentation. Provided all the necessary information required explained it's a online wholesellers company When I logged in to betfair my account was suspended contacted live chat was told to wait few hours as they will review my account And then got this email below for permenetly closed When asked was asked not to message betfair support again. On live chat wrote my name and nbsp then refused to state what nbsp stands for. .refused entry and stated its outside risk criteria but won't explain what it means. No one willing to explain or help or work around this matter. As below email states this can't be challenge not sure what to challenge if I do not even know Thank you for your co-operation to date. Upon review of your account and the documentation received, a business decision has been made to maintain permanent closure over your account, as the account has been deemed to no longer meet Betfair’s risk criteria. I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to divulge specific details pertaining to the closure as this is not made available to us. What I can confirm is that the decision was made in line with our Terms and Conditions and I'm afraid isn't something that can be appealed. I understand that this is not the answer you were hoping for and I do apologise for the overall negative experience you have endured. Kind Regards, Betfair Team”

“Useless company. Dodgy af, locked me out of most promotions and I wasn’t even told why. Pinball prize machine is the most fixed free game I’ve seen across any betting site. No idea how it has 4.7 stars on here”

“App is dodgy allows cash out on bets that have already won, also altered one of my bets I placed Pre game and wouldn't sort the issue out. Told me to screenshot my bets then I can prove the issues happening.”

“Worst experience , provided documents when account got blocked but when ever chat with their team keep on telling their team is reviewing documents …. Better try other options and if their team can’t sort on what basis we can invest funds and it may get blocked”

“Lies and Latin Too good promotions made for naive new users, with terms that are impossible to understand, which results in you not being able to ''qualify anyway'' of course only after you have lost money and played. With other orders, a quick coin rather than a potential long-term customer. No understanding from customer service, and basically, distasteful treatment. Copy paste answer and deviates from responsibility. I can only advise others to find better place to play.”

“I lost about £10000 when I lost they didn’t stop me to play but when I win something they block my account and asking verification what a joke …I played lighting rulleete they didn’t pay me just took my money”

“If I could give 0 I would, restricted my account after my first and only bet that barely made £60, which initially was a loss and decision was overturned, they then hide behind their help and support with no way of contacting the people who actually make the decisions steer clear of betfair they are a joke only allowed to gamble when you're losing it seems”

“Con artists ask you to open an account for £10 stating open an account for £10 and get £45 in bets. Opened an account no £45 free bets contacted Betfair who say this promotion isn’t open, still advising on the website. Don’t use this company.”
