I still haven’t got my order because the courier company failed twice to deliver - once due to timing issues and once as they failed to follow the instructions for items being left in my absence.

Hello Vanessa, Thank you for leaving us a review. I am sorry to hear that you had some issues with your delivery from TNT. I can see from the records on your order however, that Rhiannon liaised with TNT on your behalf to try and resolve the issues as quickly as possible and that your vinyl was delivered on the 11th and left in the location specified by yourself. Once again I can only apologise for the inconvenience that TNT caused you, however, I do hope that you were happy with the service level provided by Rhiannon who tirelessly pursued this for you to get it resolved. What a shambolic company. Ran out of laminate for our extension and used 'best4flooring' to get another 3 packs (as their delivery for small orders was cheaper than our original supplier). They only sent us two packs and it was the wrong laminate. the third pack came later in the week and was damaged and unusable as all the ends had been dunted. This was a problem as I'd arranged for our laminate fitters to come and lay it only to find out they couldn't proceed when they opened up the packs. Best4Flooring attempted to send out a new order of 3 packs a week later and again only two packs arrived and one was damaged and unusable. The third pack came 2 days later. It might be that if you ordered a larger quantity that came on a pallet, it might be ok as it is better protected flat on the pallet. But was not impressed by these guys.

Dear Magnus, Please accept our sincere apologies for the experience that you have had when ordering from Best4flooring. We endeavour to package all of our floor coverings securely to prevent damages in transit. However, couriers can mishandle items through their network and unfortunately, customers can be left inconvenienced by this. Your feedback is valued and we will look at better ways to package our materials to prevent this from happening in the future. I can appreciate your frustrations at not receiving the service you expected from Best4flooring and subsequently we have refunded the cost of 1 damaged pack. Ordered flooring which arrived with hole and rips, replaced quickly with another roll with no fuss however this roll also had rips and tears and was unusable, refund given. Not impressed!

Dear Lyn, Thank you for your feedback. We do value all feedback as it enables us to see where we might be going wrong and allow us opportunity to make improvements where possible. I have investigated your feedback and found the following: When the flooring was despatched it was in perfect condition. When it reached your address you observed damage and (rightly) refused it. Our staff promptly cut a new piece and sent it to immediately. You contacted us to advise the 2nd piece was also damaged. You refused a further replacement and instead requested a full refund. This was carried out immediately. It is unfortunate both deliveries were damaged by the courier but this can happen with ANY business. I do feel a 1 star rating is unfair our staff did all they could under the circumstances and damage during transit is out of our control. Kind regards, Best4flooring

Hi Lindsey, We despatched the vinyl samples you requested and sent you notification this had happened. We cannot help it if Royal Mail doesn't deliver the samples and you didn't tell us - we would have happily sent out more! Kind regards, Best4flooring

I will not use this company again. Delivery was not on expected day and a box of flooring was damaged. Poor customer services who we’re unhelpful. I was told that if I sent them photos of the damages they would arrange a refund however this was not done. The delivery driver also took photos and noted that a whole box of flooring was damaged however as I had accepted the goods they would not automatically arrange a refund. I would not recommend this company.

Hi Jan, Well this is pretty frustrating :( We sent the 3 cushion samples out free of charge to the address you gave us on 12th June. The confirmation email we sent you includes the Royal Mail reference number which verifies this. Despite best efforts, things can and do get lost in the post but If we are advised that free samples have 'gone missing' we like to rectify it quickly. However you did not let us know there was a problem so it is rather unfair that you gave us a negative 1 star rating based on this :( Regards, Best4flooring

I emailed you twice with photos of the damaged vinyl. I left a message on the answering machine. But no one got back to me. I reported the problem within 24 hours. Marked unchecked as per your instructions on returns.

My order didn't arrive on agreed day. When chased there was no apology whatsoever. When the lino finally arrived (a week later) it was quite substantially damaged. When asking for a refund or replacement I was told to just spread it out and hope for it to fix itself. This is absolutely not the way to go with customer service!

Two of the pieces were very badly made and unusable as whole lengths which left the job a little short, then within two days of the floor being laid gaps on the short edges were opening up through out the whole floor making it look awful. The floor has now been pulled up to be thrown away so a complete waste of time and money. The fitter has emailed a complaint and photos to your site.

I requested a sample of vinyl flooring, which was sent promptly. I tried to place an order and was told it was out of stock and the company was unsure whether it would return. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SENDING THE SAMPLE IN THE FIRST PLACE??? RUBBISH RUBBISH RUBBISH

Hi Sharon, We sent your free sample via Royal Mail promptly and we ask our customers to let us know if it hasn't been received within 5 working days - since we have no way of knowing otherwise. A couple of weeks after receiving my kitchen floor lino my fitter arrived to lay it. The lino had been laid in my hall way, wrapped in the plastic it was delivered in and was untouched. About 15 minutes into the lino being spread out and the excess being cut off, I noticed a gag in the lino. The fitter was working at the other end of the galley kitchen and had not noticed the damage. He stopped immediately and I called Best4Flooring to advise them of the damage. The gag was about two foot inside the edge and well inside the rolled lino. It must have been damaged in factory. This however was met with a hostile response and a replacement was refused because it had already been cut. After long discussion and several telephone calls (all the the while my fitter was waiting) Best4Flooring outrightly refused a refund so an agreed discount was given for the faulty goods. I would have much rather received a replacement. Very disappointing.
