“ORDER NO 413650 22.5.24 - CUSTOMER REF 32497/BS/413650-258859. I am very pleased with my Clarks shoes, Nalle Lace (685374D - Code 261685374D045) Pewter (Bronze Metallic) £89.99, but not at all happy with the cost. Clarks in Colchester charge £80.00 for the identical shoe (in Rose Gold), plus with a recent discount of 20% the price was reduced to £64.00. I do appreciate that the Pewter is actually now end of line, but usually that would mean a lower price, not a higher price by the amount of nearly £10.00. I did phone your office to complain; I wasn't even offered a 10% reduction (to bring the cost down to £80.00 as per the Rose Gold price), which I would've gladly accepted. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of goodwill; I am a somewhat dissatisfied customer who will not now use your company, it's a shame, I was really impressed with the prompt delivery and availability of this particular shoe and would like to have done more business with you. So, regrettably, my review is NOT a good one. Gay Williams :(”

We do offer a Price Match Promise, where we will match the price of the exact style, colour and size required if found cheaper elsewhere. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a price match to a style we don't carry or isn't in stock on the cheaper competitors' website. I have checked this style on the Clarks website and the Pewter colour purchased from us is not available to price match. If the shoes are no longer required, you can return them to us using the included returns label in your parcel. Kind regards Faith Begg Shoes

“My order was efficiently and promptly processed by the Lerwick store and sent with Royal Mail so that it reached me within 4 days (ordered at the weekend). It was carefully packed and I had a lovely hand written note from P..... at the store which I liked. (So often, ordering via the Internet everything is so anonymous, but this was not and I really appreciated the personal touch). I would highly recommend buying from Begg shoes. I received the exact shoes that I had ordered and there were clear instructions and postage label to return them if they were not right for me. However, they are perfect so I will be keeping them! I expect that I will order again from Begg shoes. Many thanks to the Lerwick shop.”

“Hadn't heard of Begg until they came up on.a search engine. Previous reviews on trust pilot were good so thought I'd give them a try as toddlers clarks shoes were out of stock everywhere else. Ordered Tuesday arrived Friday with royal mail so fast & free delivery. Personalised note inside which was nice. All returns info & label enclosed .not having to search everywhere. Would use again. Very happy with service”

“Begg Shoes had just what I wanted - they had been difficult to find elsewhere. I would always prefer to order direct from a small business, rather than one of the large companies. The service is always more positive/personal and that is certainly true of Begg Shoes where I got a personal note and felt like a proper customer! Simple to order and delivered promptly, thanks.”
