Beer is great but customer service fell far short. I placed one order, containing 12 cans each of two different beers. First package arrived with only half the order. Couple of emails later the second package arrived, with the same 12 cans as the first package. More emails (there is a customer contact telephone number but it's just a pre-recorded message telling you to email them, so a waste of time really). Then, a prepaid postage label to return the wrong order. Not having a printer and not having the energy at this point to arrange to have it printed somewhere then arrange to be at home for collection I accepted the incorrect order. Too much hassle. Then I had an email saying they were out of stock of my second part of order but nobody had bothered telling anybody. Hmm, internal comms need sorting. But, thanks to a lady called Sue who did try to sort it out. The next questions are 'how likely I am to recommend Beer Hunter to a friend?' For the beer, a 10, for the service, a 3. It was a birthday present for my husband but the experience ruined the surprise somewhat.

Hello Helen, I am extremely sorry you have had this experience, there was certainly a miscommunication about the stock that had been ordered and I am sorry this happened. The product has now been removed off sale. I bought a beer voucher for my son-in-law and asked for it to be sent on his birthday. He still hasn't received it and my emails asking what is happening are not replied to. Beerhunter do not answer to their customer service phone.

Hello, I am extremely sorry that your son has still not received the Gift Voucher purchased. I have flagged this with our IT team to find out why this has not been received, I will ask them to resolve this urgently. Also I am sorry that you have not been able to reach anyone, our contact details are shown on our website along with the email address, I have checked and can not see that we have received anything from you but I apologise if you have tried. Hi Gary, I have investigated this and can see that your order was placed on Wednesday afternoon after our 12pm cut off time, it was placed on a standard delivery which is despatched within 5 working days. We despatched your order on the 4th working day and it was delivered on the 5th. We are usually quicker than this but we were experiencing a high volume of sales at that time. We do offer a next day service for an extra £1 for any urgent orders. Please contact customer services cs@beerhunter.co.uk for any further information.

Started a subscription in January for friends 60th!! every month a new problem!! Beer missing.half same order instead of different beers as requested.no shows and invoice wrong. I'm having to contact you every month and no one actually dealing with the problems. Now cancelled subscription and will go elsewhere. absolute nightmare with orders and customer service won't recommend!!

Terrible customer service! I received my order 2 days ago and the gift box was ripped, beers loose out the box and the beer glass broken with glass everywhere. I emailed straightaway and have left numerous phone messages and contacted through insta and Facebook and nothing! This was a gift for a friend. Do not use!! Hope I get my £30 back!! Very disappointed.

Hi Thank you for your review, I can see that your parcel was dispatched by us however this was damaged while with the courier. We hope that our courier treats our parcels with the care they have been packed with however sometimes this is not the case and damages do occur. I can also see that our CS team received your query on this and replied straight away and it was agreed a refund would be processed. 8 days and still no tracking number,they will not reply to any emails..their phone number is just an automated message telling you to email them..total joke of a company.i am going to have to get my money back from my bank.AVOID AVOID

Have e-mailed them twice and only once did they reply with and an automated message that did nothing to help. I have still not received my delivery even though I payed for next day delivery, it's been 4 day and still nothing no delivery no email at least saying its going to be late or what's going on nothing at all. Would not recommend anyone use these people as it seams they really don't care.

Good Afternoon Tom, I am sorry you have not received your order on time. I can see that this was dispatched on the 13th July and was delivered by DPD on 14th July. Regarding our Customer Service interaction are you able to advise when you have emailed us and I will track the correspondence to find out why you feel our service has been poor on this occasion? Beerhunter will not respond to emails and only via google can you find a phone number which is just an answerphone. In my case they did not supply the beers at all despite a promise and a DPD tracking that said parcel had not been collected. I needed the beer for Father's day gifts. When it was a week late I instructed them to cancel the order and refund. No reply. 2 weeks later out of the blue they still made a partial delivery - still no communication. I didn't want the beer and have processed a cliam through my credit card. Why won't they respond?

Speedy service but snuck in two bottles with only a month before their drink by date. I did contact Beerhunter and they did reply with an apology but then heard nothing.

Ordered 2 1/2 weeks ago and still nothing. Had an email saying it was going to be delivered by DPD on June 1st but that didn’t happen and the tracking says that DPD are still awaiting the parcel. I’ve emailed and messaged on Instagram but low and behold they are just ignoring me. My partner is bitterly disappointed that he didn’t get a birthday present. Seen a few people comment with the same problem- sort it out Beer Hunter! Thank goodness I paid via PayPal.

It was delivered 3 days late the free glass was smashed I emailed about this still waiting on reply and a replacement glass Very disappointing

Would be zero if I could, ordered for a birthday present , box came damaged, cans bented paid extra for next day delivery came 4days later. Also paid extra for personalised card that wasn’t even sent. When I contacted customer services they weren’t interested and now ignoring my emails. Will not be ordering or recommending again. Will be reporting them !!!

Good Morning. I am sorry to hear there was an issue with your delivery. Your order was dispatched to the address entered on the order that came through from you. I can see you contacted us after the delivery was made. Customer Services advised you were able to return the item, however, as the order was sent correctly this would not be at a charge to BeerHunter. All order confirmation is emailed directly after placing an order and amendments can be made before the order being dispatched.

Ordered a case on Sunday night, didn’t arrive until the following Saturday lunchtime, which was too late for the reason I ordered it. Customer service tried to tell me it had arrived on the Wednesday, when I sent them the tracking from DPD showing it was Saturday they stopped responding. Really poor service and I won’t be ordering from them again.
