“Ordered a BBQ online and requested delivery for the following Friday as we were away.
Sent 3 emails replying to the order confirmation email and to their "orders" and "support" email addresses. Had a confirmation email fro. DPD and successfully changed the delivery date to Friday.
It was delivered the next day, not the Friday whilst we were away.
Asked for it to be collected today and had an email to state it would be collected and they would call to confirm the time. No call, no collection.
I was told it was all my fault as I selected the wrong delivery option - I simply selected the free delivery option given to me. No apology, emails all blamed me, multiple failed promises. Absolute shambles, and still not resolved. Avoid at all costs.”
“I bought a BBQ from BBQ world at the end of May. The BBQ arrived damaged, I immediately complained about this to Customer Services and the communication was all very positive and I was assured that I could use the BBQ and the would replace the damaged part.
After many back and forward emails and missed promises, at nearly 3 months later I am still in a position where the damaged part has not been replaced. This is not the kind of service I would expect from a company such as BBQ World.
All that said, the Louise the Customer Service contact has been very understanding throughout the process and promptly responded to my many emails for help and clarification.”
“This product simply does not work, despite its ridiculous price.
I tried it after a barbeque, spraying on and leaving 15mins as instructed, then tried to clean with a stiff brush. It had virtually no effect at all. In the end I went back to scraping off with a knife followed by a wire scourer as usual.”

My wife was not well and asked the driver for help but he said he is not allowed to move the BBQ inside the property. I rang bbqworld sales team but the women wouldn't even give me the change to talk. I wouldn't recommend bbqworld.co.uk. Very unprofessional people.”

“I recently purchased 2 bbqs from BBQ World but unfortunately they both arrived damaged with a few damaged parts. I called BBQ World within hours of receiving them both and was informed to send in photos of the damage. The next day I was informed to send in the serial numbers. The next day I was informed that a warranty claim would have to be submitted to Outback so had to resubmit the pictures along with the serial numbers.
But 1 week after receiving my bbqs I am still awaiting any replacement parts or a resolution!”
“Your webpage for the barbecue grill I bought says "Some assembly required". That is a big lie. It came in a small box, completely disassembled down to bolts. Even the manual for the equipment says it requires 2 people in uniforms to put it together. I had to hire 2 men to assemble it. They cost me £100 and took them over 2 hours. I called to ask for support and talked to Julie, who was very rude and unsupportive. I tried returning the item but she said I could not since I opened the box and the cost to return had to be mine. That is absurd. I concluded you are doing this all on purpose. Big cheaters.”
“I could not rate this company poorly enough. I returned a BBQ in its own box without it even being opened via Parcel Force. I get confirmation that they received it and that its in processing. I hear nothing for a week, I chase. A person called Ryan says he doesn't have call notes and he ll call me back on the day. No response. Now few days later, "Julie", claims that the name that signed the receipt doesn't work there so Parcel Force never gave it to them and its my fault
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET OUT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE OR RETURNS.”
“£1500 Broil King BBQ arrived with part of the body broken inside the packaging. Have been waiting for days for Dawsons / BBQ World to respond to confirm when the replacement part will be provided. Shockingly poor service for a high value order. Will not be using them again.”

“Stay Clear of these people - BBQ arrived damaged (not transit damage) been waiting weeks to try and sort, the part was eventually sent but is part of a preassembled unit, so without instructions how and why should I try to fix something which shouldn’t need fixing in the first place! The advice from BBQ World was to seek the services of a Handy man! - really ! To top it all off they now have no more stock of the bbq to offer a replacement and not even an apology.”
