I recently bought a charger, then batteries a few weeks later. I had a question about the charger. I phoned, and spoke to the receptionist. She said she would get one of the partners to call me. That never happened.

Dear Martin, We have searched through our ticket system to try and find a call from you and we cannot find a ticket, nor can we find an incoming call from the number you used when you ordered. We do not have a receptionist, but we have customer service staff that answer the phone, and we do not have partners so no one would have ever used that phrase to you. Furthermore, your only order on 15th Aug 2022 contained a pack of Duracell AA Rechargeable batteries and a pack of Panasonic Eneloop AA Rechargeable batteries. Your order DID NOT contain a charger at all. I have searched for other orders in your name or at your postcode and there is nothing. I'm confused by this review which is not factual at all. Ok but 9v batteries came with packaging opened.

Hi Stuart, We're sorry the packaging on your 9V batters became open during shipping. This is because the Duracell 9V products have a very flimsy perforated seam where the packaging can be opened, and even with secure packaging, can come ipen during shipping. Item shipped but never arrived. Situation was clear on the courier traking site but BAttery Station insisted I wait before requesting replacement shipment. Once the time was reached, Battery Station responded well.

Stores may have special offers and promotions that can make them a little cheaper. Advertised on their website that shelf life of batteries is 10 years, but shelf life on the ones I received was only 8 years.

The process of ordering was straightforward to a point but the delivery options were unnecessarily complicated. I thought the cost of delivery for a Saturday was 1.90 which seemed reasonable but it turned out to be 11.90 which is extortionate. The parcel actually arrived midweek which would apparently have cost much less. A shame!

Hi David, We have just checked the website checkout page, and the pricing is very clear. There is no ambiguity over where the decimal place is and the shipping method and price is clear for all the shipping methods. £11.90 for delivery on Saturday is not at all extortionate. Your batteries contained lithium and can only be sent by courier, and couriers charge a premium for a designated Saturday delivery. The reason it was delivered on Tuesday is because as I'm sure you are aware, Thursday 3rd June and Friday 4th June were both bank holidays, for the Platinum Jubilee. So couriers were not collecting, nor delivering. All couriers, including Royal Mail were not operating at all. So your order was packed on the weekend as we operated a weekend shift that weekend, and it was collected by Parcelforce on the next working day which was the Monday, and delivered on the Tuesday. Hi David, We're sorry on this occasion that our courier did not deliver your order quickly enough to meet your expectations, and lost your order. Your order was placed at the weekend when we are not open, and couriers do not collect nor delivery. it was packed and collected on Monday 30th May 2022 by Hermes. It was delivered on the Wed 1st June 2022. However, you informed us that it had seemed to have been delivered to the wrong address, which we verified on GPS. We promptly sent you out a replacement on a Next Day service which you received. We do have a choice of couriers but complaints aside, Hermes is very good value from hundreds of orders a day, the on-time delivery rate is very good. if you continue to have issues with them, we'd suggest you contact them as there may be an address anomaly in their system, as you do have a complicated address with no house number. Items arrived okay but very disappointed with the delivery as I was out when it arrived the message I recieved with a photo showing it being put through the letter box. When I arrived home it was not inside checked with my neighbor's to see if it had been left there no luck. It was not till the following morning when I had to move my bin that I found it. It was left there as it would not go through the door. It would have been good to have left a note through the door telling me where it was. I relpyed to the message that I received saying It had been delivered but did not get any relpy.

I ordered a pack of ten PP3 batteries initially only two arrived and I found it difficult to contact Battery Station. Eventually I received an apology and the rest of the order arrived OK.

DOES IT REALLY TAKE SEVEN DAYS FOR A PARCEL FROM MANCHESTER TO LONDON....WHAT EVER METHOD YOU MAY HAVE CHOSEN....TOO MANY HANDS IN THE FIRE.....ALL CASHING IN.........ABOLUT RUBBISH. KEITH PHILLIPS.

Batteries ok . Took so long to arrive. I bought another pack on prime. Sure Battery Station is fine. Choice of carrier dubious. Hermes said they had them on 8th delivered on 15th.

Hi Richard, Looking at the tracking of your order, I can see that Parcelforce could not find your address, and contacted us on the 11th March to ask us to provide further information. This is due to the residential property not having a building number, but being on a high street. We provided more information on the address, the they redelivered on the next working day, which was Monday 14th. Good for the normal battery (AAs and PP9s) order I placed. But I also bought an Energizer charger with AA batteries which got really hot when charging. BatteryStation didn't explain what the problem was....they just refunded my money which didn't help. I ended up with no charger or batteries because I didn't know what the fault was. I now have to go somewhere else to buy one!

Good value but poor communications. Order placed 14/02/2022. On 21/02/2022 an email from Customer Service at Battery Station told me to expect delivery by the end of "tomorrow" ie 22/02/2022. Hemes delivered the item on 28/02/2022, that is six days late!

The product and delivery were fine, but not being able to change an order within one minute of posting it is a bit strict, leading to me having to make another order, therefore, incurring double the postage. Not customer-friendly.
