The batteries were delivered quite quickly. However, I have been contacted to write a review that is impossible as I have not used the batteries and hence do not know how long they will last. Total waste of time and effort. WHy, Why, Why do companies send out this useless enquiry?

Paid for next day delivery, had to phone a week later to find out why my goods were still with Yodel. The lady in your office soon sorted out a transfer to DPD, goods arrived next day.

TLDR: They use Yodel I try hard to support retailers other than Amazon. Since Battery Station's prices were competitive I thought I'd give them a try. Disappointingly I'll be back to Amazon next time. Battery Station: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yodel: ⭐️ Generous average: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ordered from Battery Station on Thursday evening. Friday morning, the order was picked, packed and despatched. I'd ordered on the basic 3-5 day delivery so wasn't expecting it until the following week. Saturday morning I got a message from Yodel: Will be delivered today between 18:45 and 20:45. I rearranged my day to ensure I'm there for the delivery. 19:48: About 20 stops away, Yodel decided they needed more information about my address and the courier returned to the depot. So one day wasted. Sunday: I go out to do what I hadn't been able to on Saturday. Then I found a message that my parcel was out for delivery again! 15:37: My parcel has been delivered to my "safe place" which turns out to be left on my door mat next to a busy footpath and vulnerable to theft. This is despite the email saying "This parcel needs to be delivered to a person" and they'd either take a photo of it in your open doorway or deliver it to a neighbour. I curtailed my activities and returned home as quickly as possible. Fortunately, the package was still there when I got home. My take is that the Yodel delivery scheduling software allocated too many parcels to the Saturday courier who was always going to stop at 20:00. Had the software correctly scheduled the delivery for Sunday (or even Monday to Wednesday) initially I'd have had no problem. Instead a delivery I was expecting the following week disrupted my entire weekend. You could argue the delivery experience is not Battery Station's fault, but ultimately they choose which courier they use and they have the choice to use a more reliable courier. Maybe the experience varies across the country but I consistently have problems with Yodel. The batteries were well packaged. As I worked into the package I found a polywrap bag, bubble wrap, cardboard and copious quantities of tape. However, it looked like Yodel had been using the package as a football and 3 of the 5 boxes were damaged.

Dear James, We do offer other couriers for our Next Day delivery service which is obviously more expensive. Most customer don't want to pay that. Yodel is generally good and we had a marked improvement over the last low-cost courier we used. Looking at your photos, the boxes themselves look creased which is not unusual from transit, but the batteries inside should be fine. We do not normally comment on other retailers but I feel on this occasion I must point out that most of the staff in this office have had a damaged Amazon delivery at some stage. I was disappointed the batteries I had as a regular order were in a pack of 6x2. You no longer supply the 6-pack and I had to purchase 6 packs of 2 that worked out more expensive with more packaging. The batteries are for my 3 cat feeders not included in the pick list for animal welfare.

Hi, The Duracell Plus C 6 pack became very expensive relatively. If we continued to stock this item, it would have been the same price as the 2 packs per cell. Have had trouble using my debit card to place an order.You let me use a bank xfer which was good but in the last few days l had the same problem and gave up ! But for this problem your service is good.

Unfortunately 2 of the 5 button-type batteries I bought turned out to have 2.3V instead of >3.0V.

When you placed your order on the eve of Friday the 30th of June, your order was then processed on Monday the 3rd of July which was the first working day after you ordered, your order was then delivered the following day with Royal Mail first class delivery. We have spoken to Yodel and unfortunately they had a major incident at our local Shaw depot, as all the parcels had to be shipped to a midlands depot before they started on the delivery process. Batteries ordered but were not delivered after 7 days so had to contact battery station who stated it was the carrier's fault as the package was still in the depot and had not need dispatched for delivery. A second order was dispatched from battery station which arrived soon afterwards.

I was pleased with lithium-ion battery but was dissapointed with watch battery, I thought the price was for two batteries not one. I could have bought the watch battery cheaper in other seller sites. Your advert should make it clear.

Hi Trincomalee, There is nowhere on the product page for the watch battery that says anything about 2 batteries being included. It says 1 Pack, the photo shows one battery, the specifications under pack size say 1 battery as well. Even in the description it refers to one battery. I was not pleased with your website as we have used you before no problem but this time I was informed to use another browser. Then you would not accept our credit card so I had to spend time with our bank so your company would except our payment. After all this the service was good.

Hi Richard, We have absolutely no control over the restrictions your bank may place on your card, or the 3D secure system where they send you a code or a password to enter during checkout. By law, we have to use this, and we cannot process payments without it. So after you spoke to your bank, they advised you what you need to do to make the payment online. So this is nothing to do with our website at all, as once that was sorted out, the payment went through immediately. Kind Regards, Jamie.

I would be better for the customer if you were accurate in your description of the quantity purchased. To call a single battery a "pack" is misleading as I deal in battery packs a lot and these come as two in a box. Just call it what it is, a single battery.

Dear James, I have looked at the webpage for the product in question. The image shows 1 battery. The description makes no mention of 2 batteries and in the specifications table, the pack size says 1. Furthermore, I have taken a few minutes to search for this product on the top search results, and found that no one is selling it in 2s. Furthermore, the outer boxes that we receive this item in, are in 8s. So we are stumped as to your claim that they come 2 in a box. Battery Station are very quick at dispatching orders, which tend to arrive the next day. However, several batteries (I usually order D cells) tend to be damaged. On my most recent order, in addition to the usual damaged-few, nearly all of the D cells had corrosion on their ends, which doesn't make as good a connection as a clean battery. I hope that the batteries are not kept in damp conditions in the future to prevent corrosion.
