I ordered CR123A batteries. I received AAA batteries. I complained because I had arranged a job for the day after I received the batteries. They sent the correct batteries but they arrived the day after the job was scheduled which I had to cancel because I did not have the right batteries, with much inconvenience to all. Then they asked for a picture of the incorrect batteries, I obliged but only to stifle the odour of disbelief. Then they asked if I would send the batteries back, I said OK. But when I received the pre paid label I found that they expect me to walk around a mile or so to a pick up point and drop it there. There is no public transport to and nowhere to park at the pick up point. They sent the incorrect batteries to the right address, the least they can do if they want them back is arrange for a courier to collect them, not have me schlepping to a pick up point to save them a couple of quid. Dear Liam, We have had a look through our system but were unable to find any emails under your name or email address. We can see from the tracking that your parcel has been successfully delivered. The day previous to this, the courier was unable to deliver due to no one being present to accept the parcel, which is why they left a calling card. I would not use battery station again. I made a mistake and ordered wrong batteries. Realising straight away I proceeded to rectify but the transaction was final and did not allow for me to change it. With all the boasting about despatch straight away I had to wait over two weeks for them to arrive. They arrived all jumbled up in the bag having fallen out of the flimsy box. Who knows if they will work, I have no cause to use them.

Dear Pete, The reason we are unable to change orders is because within minutes they arrive at our stations for packing. Then within 15 - 20 minutes, they have been scanned onto a lay trailer ready to be collected by the courier. We dispatch all of our orders on time, but after dispatch, we are at the mercy of how well the couriers are operating. Dear Caroline, You ordered on 4th March 2021, and our records and Hermes tracking show that your order was delivered on Saturday 6th March and posted through your letterbox, around 10.40am. Hermes tracking shows a photo of the letterbox, and a GPS map showing the location of the property. Had you not received this, I am puzzled as to why you have waited until 10th April which is over a month later. It is outside the time period that we can investigate with the courier, and they simply refer us to the proof of delivery. We are contacting you directly to provide proof of delivery as we will not putting tracking numbers or photos of your letterbox on this review. However I will conclude here by stating that I do not think your review is fair nor correct and had you contacted us within a timely manner, we could have provided more help on this. I was sent wrong batteries which I callef immediately to inform them but I was told that someone will call me to return the batteries. I waited for 2 days no call then I continued to call again speaking with one lady staff for 4 days at the end she said because I opened one out of 3 that I cannot return and that's their policy. If I did not open how will I know the batteries are not the right ones? I will be the last person to buy batteries or anthing from your place. Am very very angry. Thanks

We are available by using the online form or by email, and respond to enquiries within a couple of hours during the working day. I can't actually find all your calls on the inbound call logs unfortunately. From reviewing this, no one in our office would have told you that someone would return your call to arrange a return of the items. We work with email, and we would have emailed you the information on how to make a return to us. Information about returns eligibility is included in our returns policy. As batteries are consumable items we cannot accept a return on opened items as we cannot resell them, but we could have accepted a return on the 2 items you did not open. Will not order from this company ever again and would advise everyone against it. Worst service ever, ordered a pack of watch batteries two weeks ago and still ok have not received anything. I get that things go wrong but customer service is terrible , hence why I wouldn't encourage anyone to use this company. Called last week to follow up on my order but still to no avail. Cap things off the order cannot be tracked with the details they gave me for my order . Never again.. Worst experience ever. No support no communication = terrible customer service/overall experience.

We have no tickets nor emails from you at all, and we have no log of your call from our staff. I did also look at the inbounds calls log and could not see the number you used when you ordered although I accept you may have called from a different one. We deal with customer enquiries all day long and all our systems are working perfectly. The reason your order could not be tracked is not due to any fault of our own. You selected a very cheap shipping method which used Royal Mail, and the order can only be tracked when the QR code is scanned at the time of posting. We provide this information in the dispatch email we send you, as well as on the order confirmation page. I recently ordered 5 boxes of AA batteries. On the first delivery attempt, the package was damaged with only 4 boxes inside. I refused delivery. Battery Station then sent a replacement delivery, this was undamaged but there were only 3 boxes inside! I drew this to the attention of Battery Station and supplied photographic evidence. They have totally ignored my complaint, leaving me with 3 boxes, having paid for 5. Very, very poor, I know where I will NOT be shopping in the future.

Do not buy om this place. paid for next day delivery and it came 4 days later. Why do they think you pay all that extra postage money..............for a fast delivery. Spoke to them and basically its tough luck. First purchase and last purchase. What a con.

Dear Des, We've been in touch with you already directly about this issue and explained in a lot of detail. You placed your order on a Thursday and it would normally be delivered on the Friday. As we made so explicitly clear on every page on our website, and on a huge notice on our checkout, the couriers have suspended their delivery targets at present due to staffing issues related to Covid. The next working day after the Friday was the Monday which is why it was delivered then. It is not a mater of 'tough luck' - it is a matter of this is completely outside our control at present. We have never sold Next Day delivery as a refundable guarantee, nor do we receive that from our couriers ourselves. Courier networks are prone to failure from time to time, and more so right now due to Covid. I'm sorry you are disappointed, but this could have happened from any supplier that uses DPD. Out of 2 display packs and 2 cartons of batteries ordered a Jiffy bag arrived containing :- 1 damaged carton of 10 batteries 1 damaged empty carton 2 shattered display packs for 12 batteries with only 2 batteries in each along with 30 loose batteries. Not the best way to impress a new customer

I recently found a picture on the Battery Station website which looked like the battery I needed but I wasn't sure, so I phoned their number to ask for advice. I just got a recorded message saying they could not take orders over the phone. The result was that I ordered the wrong battery.

Dear Customer, You are correct in that we are an online company and we do not take non-business orders over the phone. The cost of doing so is too high to allow us to sell products at the discounted prices we do. We do however offer very responsive customer service by email and reply to enquiries within a couple of hours including the weekend. Furthermore, many customers contacting us in that way attach a photo of the battery they are trying to source so we can help identify it. In this case your order was £2.83 delivered which I'm confident is cheaper than buying from the high street.
