Took the Battery to a jewellery with the watch it was brought for and was told it was dead. Not very happy.

I ordered a 2 pack of Duracell 357/303 button-cell batteries in October 2022. The batteries arrived promptly BUT the best-before date on the pack was 2025. So I was sent two batteries to be used in a fraction over two years. These were for use as backups in an immersion heater time-switch. The switch requires a single battery (which is supposed to be replaced every five years) for this purpose. Sending out short-dated products is totally unacceptable and quite dishonest IMO.

Hi Michael, These small button cells are not lithium. They do not have long expiry dates. We have never received this stock with 5 year expiry dates on it, and they are usually 2 - 3 years. There is nothing dishonest about us selling this product. There is no mention anywhere of such expiry dates at all. We do not make such claims. You are incorrect in your belief that they have 5 years expiry date on them. All our stock is new and rotated fully every 6 - 8 weeks. The products you received have 3 years on them. Ordered 10 Duracell Procell AA batteries. Turns out that these batteries cannot even power a wall clock for a few months. Duracell used to be excellent batteries. I do not understand what has happened. Had good service from BATTERYSTATION previously.

Goods delivered to the wrong address. Customer Service dealt with me as if it was my fault. Emails ignored and customer service not answering the phone.

Dear Customer, It was delivered across the road, and we simply asked you if you would mind asking your neighbour if they received it. You ignored our email and opened a PayPal case. We then refunded you immediately. No one suggested it was your fault at all. Parcels get delivered to neighbours all the time and it is never normally this problematic. We just asked you to ask them. Hi Richard, We're sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your purchase. However we'd disagree with your findings. This Panasonic CR2450 that you bought, it's the same product that everyone who supplies it has. We do not have our own special supply of them. These cells are really simple products and for there to be faults in just one out of thousands of them in a batch, it's virtually unheard of. I would suggest you look at the device you're using to test the batteries and as to how you are concluding that they are 2/3 charged. Obviously, it is not a rechargeable battery and the voltage is standard at 3V. There is no way to measure the capacity with a simple battery tester as with lithium batteries of this type, there is no slope off as the battery dies. The voltage will remain 3V until it dies, and the graph looks like a cliff-edge. I believe the device you are using this in, is using more power than you expect. Battery station are great but the delivery service they use is useless. They advised they had the item, two days later they advised the same, then they couldn't send the item out for delivery; they were going to deliver on the Monday; they were going to deliver later on the Monday; they weren't going to deliver on the Monday; they were going to deliver Tuesday, but I wasn't going to be in, no facility to contact them and reschedule the delivery; they tried to deliver on the Wednesday but I had commitments and couldn't be around until the following Monday! Battery Station could not do anything about the delivery so refunded my money, which whilst this was great, I ordered the batteries because they were needed. You guessed it the order was delivered to a next-door neighbour, who is either on holiday or moved. Either way still no batteries

very poor service from your courier company did not deliver the parcel it took 11 days after the order and i had to ring you guys every day to find out where the parcel was next time do not use this courier co very poor and lier

Dear Kantilal, We are sorry your order did not arrive as quickly as you hoped. However, please kindly note that Evri did attempt to deliver your order on the 19th of July 2022, which was within 3 - 5 working days delivery period. Unfortunately, there was nobody at the property, and no safe place. They also tried again on the 20th and the 21st, and experienced the same issue. They finally managed to deliver on Sunday 24th. Email none fulfilled until a day I came home to find a package on my doorstep - not in the pre-arranged safe delivery place. I will avoid using this company in the future and use my local hardware store - only a little more expensive but so much faster and more secure.

Hi Ron, We received your order at 6.10pm Saturday 28th May. Your order was packed by our weekend team on Sunday 29th May, and collected by Hermes on Monday 30th May. The timescale for delivery of your Economy delivery was 3-5 Working Days. That week we had 2 bank holidays which were not working days, so your order was delivered on the 4th working day, within the timescales. Regarding safe places, no courier gives this guarantee and this service is offered on a best effort basis. We're sorry they did not leave it in your safe place this time. Even our full-service higher priced couriers will not guarantee this for you. Hugely disappointed... big incompetence in customers service. I reiterate my opinion about great incompetence! Below is detailed explanation why. I placed large (from my perspective is large) Order #400301302 of 70 pieces Alkaline Duracell Procell non rechargeable batteries. 1. Duracell Procell Constant AAA PC2400 LR03 Batteries 2. Duracell Procell AA LR6 PC1500 Batteries 3. Duracell Procell Intense Power AA LR6 PX1500 Batteries 4. Duracell Procell Constant 9V PP3 6LR61 PC1604 Batteries Now about Best Before date on this batteries. 1. Duracell Procell Constant AAA - 2032 2. Duracell Procell AA - 2027 3. Duracell Procell Intense Power AA - 2028 4. Duracell Procell Constant 9V PP3 - 2027 on the box (but P 11/21 on the battery) according to my review answer this batteries have shorter BB date and looks like P 11/21 is probably manufacturing date) 1. this is the best what I could expect 2. disappointed 3. disappointed a bit 4. initially disappointed but got explanation after my review So... for 2 types of batteries the BB date is the best possible. For another 2 is average and I would expect that information to be displayed before I will place order. But the whole point of my review is... Huge incompetence of customers service. When I had my order delivered I was confused and bit disappointed with some items BB date. I placed this order from company which should be expert in batteries and was expecting that they will have very "fresh" products. So I decided to call them yesterday. First it was very difficult to be connected to a person. Then first I was talking with one lady probably younger. I provided all information including my order number and personal data. So she was able to check what items I ordered. I told her that I'm not entirely happy with some BB dates (2027 and 2028) but was told that I'm wrong and I don't understand and this are manufacturing dates !!! Then was connected to a second person another lady this time probably bit older... was told exactly the same that this dates are manufacturing dates !!! So I give up because as far as I can read in English it was written on the boxes that this are Best Before dates. So I didn't wanted to argue with someone who is telling me that white is black. Then today I got answer to my review... looks like someone who answered it knows the stuff which is selling. I also got some informations regarding 9V batteries which now make sense after I checked the symbol P 11/21. So for 9V batteries the BB date is 2027 but probably this P11/21 is manufacturing date which is good. But this is what I expected calling them yesterday... to talk with an expert and get explanations to my questions. But instead they treated me like a fool and they provided wrong informations which make me even more confused. And because of that negative experience I call my review huge incompetence. Hope BatteryStation.co.uk will agree with me. I provided order number and all my personal data. People who were talking with me over the phone were able to see my order and check what type of batteries I ordered. In that case your explanation make no sense. It wasn't mistake... it was incompetence !!! The reason why this Best Before dates are so important for me... I had recently problem with 2 devices and leaked Alkaline Duracell batteries. It was my fault as I left batteries in the devices for 2 years after Best Before date expired. But now will remove all batteries from not used for longer devices... but also want to have "fresh" batteries to minimalise risk of damage if in the future I will accidentally forgot remove the batteries.

Dear Customer, This is the same identical review you left on another review service. The expiry dates on all of the batteries you received from us were all at least 5 years in the future, most more than that. The stock sent to you had come to us from the supplier a month earlier. It has not been sat around for years. It is the latest available stock. They were delivered to you, as ordered, on time. The batteries were all well in date and could completely be considered 'fresh'. There is no case to answer here. We have done nothing wrong. What you have done previously with your own batteries, leaving them in devices and them leaking is absolutely nothing to do with us. I refute your claim that we are incompetent. We are never going to be able to offer a boutique service to you with specific dates for each battery you buy. We do not advertise this in any way at all. We have nearly 1m items of stock in on a rolling basis. Popularly lines rotate completely within 2 months, and less popular lines can be 3 - 4 months. We do not have the resources to continually update the expiry dates on our website and have no intention of doing so. You mentioned in your last review on another review site that you have seen eBay sellers showing the expiry dates on all their listings. We strongly recommend you purchase from them in future. We absolutely do not want any further business from you and your expectations are ridiculous. This is our final position on this matter and we will not be taking any action for this frivolous claim. I would like to report and to replace and also to know why do you send me durasell battery AAA plus because I ordered duracell battery AAA OEM I ordered this battery because only OEM battery works with my parcel box outside.

Despite having an account that was often used I have recently had problems as the payment system will not let me use my address and contacting 'Battery Station' did not help, in fact, they were not very concerned at all. I have used a different supplier.

Hi Alan, This review is for a previously successsful purchase which you place, and was delivered correctly on time. You have used the review invitation as an opportunity to complain that you could not complete a payment when trying to order again. Your card issuer declined your transaction, as they failed to produce the correct response to your cards enrollment in the newer version of the 3DS scheme which is commonly referred to as SCA. This is a common issue right now with UK issued cards as the deadline for this came in earlier in March. We send all the correct credentials, and if for some reason your card is not set up for SCA, we will not get the response we need, and wil decline the transaction.
