“I popped in the previous day to make an impromptu booking as I was visitings Wroxham & it looked so nice seeing people on boat.
The male member of staff I saw was nice & discussed my requirements (2 adults & 2 dogs) & he recommended an electric sun boat. He said they had availability (last one left!) for 10 am the following day for 4 hours so I booked there & then. Perfect!
Although they were very busy when we arrived just before 10 am the next day (which was understandable), we were met with a young man who was very professional & set us up ready for the off.
Love the paper with the map in it.
The boat was lovely, very clean, quiet & new. Easy to drive (said hubby).
Apart from the weather forecast being wrong (much cooler than forecast but clearly no one’s fault), we all had a great time & can’t wait to do all again.”

“Helpful staff, lovely boat. We had a problem with the loo which was sorted out within an hour of ringing their service line. I can really recommend them.”
“I have been to Barnes Brinkcraft and stayed in the Mallard mostly and also the Daisy.
The Mallard is great because it looks out onto the river and is so interesting watching the boats and the birds go by all day! The problem is the settees all three of them are so old and so!!! Uncomfortable!!! I know they have been there since we've been coming which is since 2019!
I did mention this last year when we were in the Daisy and you said you were hoping to update the living areas- but still the same old bumpy lumpy uncomfortable sofas ever!!
I would also like to say we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the place although not filthy you could tell it had only had a very quick wipe over and for a four star accommodation I would expect a better finish - the beds were well made and clean sheets although again the mattresses where not very comfortable quite lumpy and slopped on one side in both the double rooms.
I feel I've done nothing but complain- the compliments are that we love the area the houses are placed in, the staff are very friendly and helpful - but please update the sofas it would have made the time spent in the mallard so much more comfortable and enjoyable- especially as we spent more time in the house than usual because of the weather.”
“We had an excellent day on the Broads.
We arrived a bit early and were greeted warmly and went for a wander. Our boat came back in shortly before our booking began and was swiftly turned around to a good standard. Instructions were helpful and we were given good pointers where we could go in the allowed time.
The vessel was great quality and in excellent condition.”
“Clean tidy & well appointed, the addition of the free river boat was the cherry on the cake.
A helpful improvement would be towel rails in the bathrooms and perhaps a shelf as only 1 hook on back of door and a soap/shampoo holder in the shower would be nice.
Staff very helpful and friendly, which made booking in after a 6 hour journey unstressful.
Lovely views over the marina and river Bure made sitting having breakfast on the balcony a priority every morning.
