“The only problem we experienced was mooring ,trying to get near a place to eat proved almost impossible.it seemed that most of the places seemed to be private moorings . I did speak to a member of staff and he said that it is proving a problem. But that is not your fault,other than that all was fine .staff helpful ,boat realiable all seemed efficient on arrival and leaving .thank you”
“We had the electric hybrid but found it not particularly good for lengthy runs the generator is used more and the battery doesn’t charge while moving so you have to stop to charge up the battery before you continue.”

“A good two weeks - boat wasn't clean on collection- but well equipped and with everything we needed. The run through was a bit lax and we couldn't use the bed in the galley until we'd been back to Barnes and asked for a demo on converting table to bed!”
“We really enjoyed our stay again this year. This is our third holiday with Barnes Brinkcraft in the last four summers, two of which have been in Heron Lodge. The set up of the Lodges are perfect for a family get together and viewing River Bure in a lovely setting. We enjoyed free use of the day boat, which we got for a few days before the summer holidays, which worked out really well for us.
We are definitely considering coming back next year, but probably not to Heron as we feel the double bed in the back room in particular, and the settees are well overdue an upgrade. They were very uncomfortable. I had to move to a single bed, when some of the party went home, as the springs were painful. One last issue, which I understand can't always be helped, was that my daughter has allergies to many cleaning products and the products used to clean the house were very strong on the wooden furniture, specifically in the bedrooms throughout the whole week. Using sensitive/fragrance free products would be ideal as I know some people have sensitivities but I understand this can't always be done.
The hamper and prosecco were great as usual and were greatly appreciated. All in all we enjoyed our holiday and think Wroxham is a great destination.”
“Booking process on the Web site is a little clunky. Adding names of guests may or may not be working as it gives no feedback. Some how my surname is displaying twice, how did that happen? This lack of user friendliness of the Web site is not reflective of the very good holiday experience you deliver.”

Payment process worked fine and received proof of payment and confirmation of booking via email straight away.
Using an Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max on latest iOS 18.5 did bring up some form formatting issues when entering party booking names and could do with investigating for Apple user improvements.”
