“Well oiled machine. Boat was looking tired compared to photos online which must be on day it was purchased. Boat size was great for 4 adults but would have struggled for storage if all bedroom were used.”

“Never had a problem with Barnes Brinkcraft, staff very good and proffessional. Sorry to say, although the Rhapsody class have some really good features i wouldn't have one again. Just too techno, don't need all that extra management on a boating holiday. Back to diesel next year. Had two really good holidays this year. Love Omega!!”

“the boat we had is tired ( Ultima 2 ), probably the next time we will look at something a little newer, some parts of the boat didnt operate very well or not at all.
pass over at collection ( on the boat ) not enough information on the operating of the boat ( ie heating ).
reception staff very good and helpful, and with a smile
the toilet and shower block disappointing ( one male / one female shower ) and not open in the evening or until 8.00 all this was something all my guests said was bad needs addressing in my opionion people are looking for quality this was not very good at all”
Thank you for your feedback. Ultima 2 is one of our older “no-frills” boats, but everything on board should still work as expected – we’re sorry this wasn’t the case for you. Please remember our engineers are on call and happy to come out and put things right during your trip. We’ll also remind our team to make sure the onboard handover covers essentials like heating more thoroughly.
We were a little surprised by your comments about the boatyard facilities, as most of our customers don’t use these while away on their holiday. That said, we’ll take your points on board and review how clearly we explain what’s available. “The boat is a little tired, locks sticky, top hatch didn’t lock and I’ll fitting. Shower didn’t drain and a couple of other small things, noisy pump and sticking table. Didn’t ruin the holiday but would have been nice if they worked.”

“The forward cabin doesn’t work as a double as you are sleeping on the V joint that is not comfortable as the V is not a tight fit and there is no space to get changed.We are not really big people but it was very tight to open the toilet door large people would struggle with the double set up.I think you should recommend that it is two singles as this will give you a bit of space to get changed ,open the toilet door and be more comfortable. Anti slip maps would be helpful inside the kitchen cupboards as twice we opened the door and glasses fell out and smashed due to the vibration. The rear cabin was absolutely perfect as was the rest of the boat.”

“Great pick up and drop off service. Boat was a little tired - dirty seat cushions. Bin hadn’t been emptied. Easy to manoeuvre and a lovely relaxing holiday. Be aware of lots of extras like mooring fees, water fees and pump out fees.”
Thanks for the honest feedback, we are happy you had a great time and a little horrified that the bin was missed - it really should not have been. Costs for mooring can build up, but its worth remembering that there are loads of free ones . And my favourite - dropping a mud weight on one of the broads is absolutly free
“Overall it was good, reception I thought soft skills lacked a little, I appreciated they were busy, but soft skills would have made it better. Young man who carried out our run through was great, knowledgeable answered questions easily, polite and put everyone at ease.”
“Showers need upgrading. probably some receptonist of could be a bit friendlier. all staff are hard working perticular two lads who where outstanding and brilliant with the public we had great holiday thanks”
“Booking process was good. Checking in was fine but not sure why we really needed to check in at reception as key was in a lock box at House. Day boat collection was confusing. Rang up on day of collection and told to collect from Day Boat Centre. Arrived and told collection and drop off was a House Mooring. Boat instruction was limited to key controls but no on water instruction which would have been helpful as really struggled to get boat out of cramped boatyard. When dropping boat key off at Day boat centre I was told I needed to bring boat back from House Mooring. At that point my crew had already departed so I was unable to do so, sorry. House was internally clean but outside patio and balcony areas had cobwebs etc. Fridge was small considering there were 7 adults. More than one toilet roll would be better. Given a dishwasher was provided it would be helpful to have more cups and plates. Great location and easy walk into Wroxham. Would use again, Thank you”

Omega was a lovely craft, with so many good points, but we did feel that the facilities on board were slightly showing signs of her age, although this didn't deter from our experience too much.

“Excellent service and brilliant set up at the marina. All very easy and made for a great start to a fantastic weekend. The only thing I would say about Merrymore 1 is it would be good to have 2 fold away stools onboard as you can’t seat 8 on the sofas.”
“We had a great holiday in our favourite cottage with brilliant views, didn't, score 5 as bathroom fittings looking tired and fire door shutting mechanism heavily weighted making transit from kitchen to living room a pain when carrying anything. Beds a bit hard, but would book again.

“First time on the Broads, staff were friendly and very helpful. The boat was clean and had everything we needed. Communication the phone was also very good. Maybe a few different sizes of serving dishes in the kitchen and some washing up liquid to get started would be good? I was a bit worried about what I was discharging into the river. We had a great holiday and I would definitely recommend.”
