“We've just returned from a trip to the Baltic States that took in Vilnius, Riga, Tallin and Helsinki. It proved to be an ideal introduction to these beautiful cities with English speaking city guides together with free time for unsupervised exploring. The cities are amazingly different and all are full of charm and interest. There's a lot of travelling but this is offset by well considered breaks with stops at The Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace (with the best guide you'll ever meet!) and a relaxing 2 hour ferry trip to Helsinki. Optional tours include Trakai village and castle and Laheema National Park amongst others. However, they are very expensive and it might be sensible to consider doing some of them independently. Throughout the tour travel arrangements worked well, hotels were fine and airport transfers worked pretty well despite a small glitch that was quickly resolved. Overall, the tour is a very good introduction to the countries with just the right amount of information about history and geography from a well-informed tour guide and I highly recommend the tour and the company.”

“Organized a somewhat last-minute 11 day fly/drive tour of Denmark, but it was very hard to find an agency that would work with just Denmark (most pushed just Copenhagen as part of a larger Scandi tour). Mark at Baltic was super helpful, we gave him the vaguest of goals, he came up with a suggested itinerary, which we tweaked, and then booked. Everything went smoothly, great hotel choices -- mid-priced but central and lovely, all over a really perfect trip. Mark was very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout, and we plan to book again with Baltic.”

“I travelled to North Macedonia earlier this month for a two week holiday to Skopje and Lake Ohrid. I found the staff at the company very professional and helpful. Both of the hotels in Skopje and Ohrid were excellent. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast at both were excellent and the evening meal at the hotel in Ohrid was plentiful and very good. Both hotel rooms were comfortable and large. I had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Ohrid, which was great for watching the sun setting in the evening. The Hotel Belvedere is a short taxi ride away from the main town on the lake, Ohrid. The flights with TUI Airways were very comfortable and punctual. Overall, I had a very enjoyable holiday.”

“Have just returned from a visit to Tallinn. The hotel recommended by Baltic Travel was in a great location just 7 minutes walk from the Old Town. The food was excellent and the customer service first rate. Tallinn has so much to offer visitors from the amazing town centre to the beautiful Kadriorg Park once home to Peter the Great and his wife. A thoroughly enjoyable visit.”

“Our One week fly-drive to the Faroe Islands was taylored to our wish to spend as much time as possible in rural surroundings. This worked perfectly and allowed us to enjoy lovely villages, and to drive around 7 of the main islands. We did enjoy very good weather, and the scenery was spectacular. The undersea tunnels made much of our trip possible, with tolls being charged to our rental car and paid when we handed the car back. Ending our trip at Vagar and a short walk from the airport, meant we had plenty of tme for the early morning flight back to London. Just a note to take care when trying to navigate Torshavn, road signs are not the best.”

“I wanted a trip for me and my 12 year old son that included an epic train journey, dealing with Nikola at Baltic Travel was a pleasure, Nikola was happy to try and meet our requirements and provided a few options to travel from the UK to Stockholm in Sweden, then take the Arctic Sleeper train into the Arctic Circle to Abisko for a few nights, then onto Narvik in Norway via another amazing train journey. Once we settled on a route, Nikola provided a full Itinerary of the trip, hotel details, flight and train times with maps of how to walk to our hotel for example, I couldn't have asked for anything more and I don't think I have ever received such good customer service when looking to book a holiday. I would highly recommend using this company for your travels, trips and adventures. My son and I had a adventure we will never forget, so a big thank you to Nikola and the team from us.”

“Inge booked our trip to the Faroe Islands just a few weeks before our desired departure date. She provided the itinerary and recommended sights for each day. “Booked with Baltic Travel. Communication was very good from first interest information to booking and return home feedback. Everything ran smoothly. Flights, taxi and hotel. We stayed at Hotel Foyoyar. Beautiful hotel overlooking Torshavn. Faroe islands are beautiful. Very dramatic scenery. We hired a car, which was delivered to the hotel. Very easy to drive around the islands. Visited Barbara Fish House restaurant. Lovely food and very efficient service. In a traditional house with grassed roof. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay made possible by Baltic Travel. Also, must mention taxi from airport. Husband's wallet fell out of his pocket in the taxi. He didn't realize until we got to our room, so wasn't sure where he had lost it. Plane, airport or taxi. He froze his cards and I messaged the airline. Next morning, taxi company rang they had his wallet. Dropped it off at reception before we went to breakfast. So thankful for finding it and returning it fully intact. So must give them a shout out.”

“We had a one week holiday in Vilnius and Tallinn, and were very pleased with the service offered by Baltic Travel Company. They were very prompt in answering any queries and their choices of hotels in both cities were good - comfortable accommodation, and convenient for sightseeing. The staff obviously know the Baltic countries very well. For instance, we suggested travelling from Vilnius to Tallinn by train, but they recommended the coach, which was two hours quicker and more comfortable. They also suggested we get the John app (the equivalent of Uber) which proved excellent. We shouild be happy to use Baltic Travel Company again and to recommend them to friends.”

“Just back from a truly wonderful week in the Faroes. Nothing was too much trouble for Inga; when the UK airport was inconvenient she simply rescheduled the flights and itinerary to suit. Breathtaking landscapes, welcoming people who all spoke perfect English and so easy to get around with undersea tunnels between the islands. I took up the suggestion of an evening of fine food in a centuries-old restaurant. I had to leave one island unvisited to make sure I return!”

“We have just completed a second trip organised for us by Baltic Travel. The first, in June of last year, a tour of Poland, and we have recently returned from a coastal cruise of Croatia. All travel arrangements were excellent, with good communication from the company, and the agents helpful both on the phone and contacts by email. We have also booked a tour for September of Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Croatia, we are completely confident to use Baltic Travel again.”

“We went on the Norway in a Nutshell trip. Inga was amazing from start to finish, kept us informed at every step and dealt with all our queries really quickly. We were provided with all tickets prior to the trip and everything went really smoothly. All the hotels booked were great. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this trip.”

“From the first point of contact with Baltic Travel, Daina handled everything personally. We did a rail journey around Finland - this necessitated many trains and 6 hotels. The organisation was outstanding and everything went to plan. Whilst in Finland, we requested to make a change of hotels and trains and this was dealt with quickly and seamlessy by Daina. We have no hesitation in recommending this company to others and would book through them again should we travel to Scandinavia or the Baltic.”

“I approached a number of companies hoping for a last minute trip to see the Northern Lights over the Christmas period and Mark Champagne from Baltic Travel was the only tour operator that took the time to make contact and was keen to be of assistance. He listened to my requirements, came up with a perfect package, and my son and I had a wonderful long weekend at Camp Ripan in Kiruna, Sweden, in January, and were fortunate enough to see the aurora borealis. The holiday ticked all the boxes and I can't thank Mark enough for organising a holiday that my son and I will remember for a long time. The service was excellent and would highly recommend.”

“This is the second tour we have undertaken with Baltic Travel and on both, the organisation and attention to detail we have received has been brilliant. They changed our airline because my husband didn't want to fly by Boeing; they chose us a hotel that was just right - quiet, comfortable and warm, with a view of the sea, but also where we could see a little of a normal Reykjavik neighbourhood. The staff there were extremely helpful also. All transfers went off without a hitch and we were kept informed of any rescheduling (well it WAS lceland in March!). Our excursion guides were brilliant and obviously love and are proud of their country - which is beautiful and dramatic in equal measure. All in all a superb few days. Would have no hesitation in booking with Baltic Travel again.”

“We already knew the area we wanted to visit (Finnish Lapland, Arctic Circle) and could easily have booked flights and a hotel ourselves, but we wanted guidance on choosing the right hotel within the brand we wanted to use, and the reassurance of ATOL and ABTA protection. Baltic Travel appeared during our research and offered exactly the outdoor experiences we wanted to do during our trip, so we did some due diligence checks on-line before contacting them by email. There was a bit of back and forth, but only because we had lots of questions and wanted to be sure we were making the right choice (of hotel location & type of accomodation). Daina supported us throughout, answering everything clearly and helping us feel confident and excited about our final decision. The booking process itself was straightforward. We received a payment link for the deposit, confirmation arrived immediately, and the same smooth process followed when the balance was due. All travel documents were provided well in advance. Would we use Baltic Travel again? Absolutely. Our experience was entirely positive from start to finish.”
