“We booked at short notice with Baltic Travel for the Polar Express and our point of contact (Nikola) was awesome. Some of the package we'd picked was fully booked, so she put together something bespoke which involved a different place of accommodation and reversing the train journey. The flights were at decent times too. Nikola was really quick to respond and had all the answers to our questions. I'd definitely recommend using Baltic Travel! The holiday itself was fantastic too. Sweden was cold (-20) and the Northern Lights evening was a success too!”

“Our travel agent Mark from Baltic Travel was fabulous. He helped us to develop an itinerary that satisfied our needs and enabled us to travel as an independent group of 4 through Finland, Norway and Estonia so we could maximise our opportunities for seeing the northern lights, experiencing all the fun snow activities (snowshoe hiking, snowmobiling, huskies, reindeers, whales etc.) and becoming familiar with the places we were visiting. We highly recommend using Baltic Travel.”

“From the moment we made an enquiry to returning home Inga has been efficient, organised and adapted the itinerary to our needs. The hotels, food and excursions were perfect and being met at airports and destinations and being transferred took all the stress out of the holiday. At 72 we did snowmobiling, husky rides, rib boat whale watching and even a night in the snow hotel at Kirkenes. We also appreciated having a bit of time to ourselves and two nights in Oslo was a lovely way to end the holiday. It was a dream holiday that exceeded our expectations! Thank you!”

“Baltic Travel Company arranged a holiday for my wife and I in Finnish Lapland. This holiday takes you out of your comfort zone. It was breathtaking, exhilarating, exhausting and challenging. “We used Baltic to book our trip to Lapland where we stayed at the fantastic Wilderness Hotel Muotka. From start to finish the whole process was seamless and very professional and Daina was extremely helpful and came up with a fantastic itinerary for our stay. To see the Nothern lights was a bucket list item for us and we were lucky to experience this on three of our four night stay. This holiday was incredible from start to finish but wrap up warm as its breathtakingly cold!”

“Daina and the team at Baltic Travel could not have been more helpful. They organised a really fantastic trip to Tromso and were on hand to support throughout when the weather meant a chnage was needed. We had two Northern Lights trips - one was a chase (higly recommended - the tour guide worked very hard to get us to the best place and succeeded!), the second was a camp which was also very good and we did see the lights but you would be stuck if they didn't appear there. We also experienced dog-sledding (amazing) and a fjord cruise (in lieu of the cancelled whale-watching). We also added a sauna (and plunge in the icy harbour) ourselves. All in all a fantastic trip - highly recommend Baltic Travel!”

“We had the most incredible holiday in Norway thanks to Mark at Baltic Travle Ltd. He put together an itinerary that included everything we'd asked for and gave us the chance to experience parts of the country that we might otherwise have missed. Communication was excellent and despite a change in plans due to the weather everything else went perfectly. We had a mixture of pre-booked trips through Baltic Travel and others that we organised ourselves when we were there, which worked really well as we could adapt to the weather. Particular highlights were the Norway in a Nutshell journey, staying at the Rorbu in Svolvaer, the trip with Lofoten Lights and the husky sledding. We also loved the rib safari to see sea eagles in Svolvær, the atmosphere in Bergen and the snowmobiling and northern lights trips in Tromso. A fabulous adventure and we enjoyed every minute - thank you!”

“Thanks to Daina’s impeccable arrangement with a personal touch, me and my family had a smooth and wonderful holiday in Tromso. Our main purpose was to see the Northern Lights. We were very lucky as we saw the magical green light from the plane as we landed, we saw the light above the town square/church as we walked around town, we saw the light from our bedroom windows. We even saw it on our way back from the whale watching trip. During the Aurora safari, the light was all over the sky. The guide told us that we were very lucky and it was one of the most light activities he had encountered. We also spotted whales during the whale watching trip too. Unfortunately I got sea sick during a stretch of rough sea. Should have heed Daina’s advice to take motion sickness medication in advance. The highlight for us is definitely the northern light which was our main purpose visiting Tromso. Overall we had a great time and I am glad to have selected Baltic Travel over others to travel with. Thanks again to Daina for her great help and patience in answering my queries/doubts and making all the great arrangements.”

“We had a brilliant short break in Lapland. Everything was very well organised. The hotel and cabin were lovely and we really enjoyed the activities. Husky sledding was a highlight. Would definitely consider doing something similar again. Thanks to Daina for organising it all for us.”

“Just arrived home from a stunning holiday to Iceland, organised to perfection by Baltic Travel. Stunning scenery, we experienced, volcanoes, waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs, whales, national parks, snow covered Iceland in the sun, magical New Years Eve has to be experienced to be believed, the fireworks went on for at least 6 hours. New Year in Iceland will be forever in my memories.”
