“I traveled to Lithuania two months ago. Inga (who I got to meet in Kaunas) from Baltic Travel Company arranged everything for me. Orinta was my private guide and Zbignev was my personal driver. Everyone did an awesome job. I had a medical issue during my trip and Orinta and Zbignev went above and beyond taking care of me so I was still able to do everything on my bucket list because of them. There is so much more to do in Lithuania than I first thought. There are many churches, museums, sculptures, parks, dunes, beaches, Hill of Crosses, hill of angels, and so much more. Unusual things I did (which I highly recommend) is ride in a sidecar, ride in an armored tank and held military weapons, stayed at Pakruojis Manor where I was treated like royalty and had a professional old fashion photoshoot. Places I visited are Vilnius, Trakai, Kaunas, Siluva, Druskininkai, Uzupis, Palanga, Klaipeda, Nida, Curonian Spit. My favorite hotel other than the mansion is Narutis Hotel in Vilnius. I highly recommend this trip and Inga, Orinta and Zbignev.”

“Baltic Classics Tour, mid-June This was our first experience of Baltic Travel and we can unreservedly recommend the company. We had an overall enjoyable and interesting holiday. Inga was extremely helpful during the booking process, ensuring that I had all the information I needed to decide on options, and keeping us informed at every step. Everything worked fine up to arrival in Vilnius, where there was a small hiccup with pickup, quickly resolved. We were unlucky in getting an extremely poor tour guide for our time in Vilnius thereafter until Tallinn. That having been said, all other guides were absolutely excellent, and we were able to enjoy everything on the itinerary. We would definitely recommend this holiday for first-timers in the Baltic countries. On our return, we complained about the guide, and Baltic Travel’s complaint process was faultless. An investigation was carried out, our complaints agreed, apologies issued and compensation provided. Again, Inga conducted this process in an exemplary fashion. So overall, a five-star company.”

“We have just come back from a wonderful trip to the Lofoten Island in Norway. The trip was very well organised by Mark and everything went really smoothly. We don’t usually use travel companies to book our holidays but I am really glad we did as we felt we stayed the right amount of time in each region without too much driving around. We were also keen to include some golf as part of our Lofoten experience and the combination of golf and hiking was a success. I would highly recommend Baltic to anyone who want a personalised trip to Norway.”

“We had a recent trip to Greenland. Excellent attention to our requirements and good local knowledge. When flights didn't go to plan (which seems to be common in Greenland) they were immediately contactable and helpful with alternative arrangements. We would certainly book with Baltic Travel again.”

“We have been treated extremely well by Mark. We needed to change things around a bit and he sorted things brilliantly. The trip was excellent for us enabling us to look at a lots of wildlife as well as others things. Using the train worked well, the trains were reliable and comfortable. The overnight train was as expected, 'compact' but the beds were comfortable. Overall a great trip. Thank you .”

“I had an excellent experience booking my trip to Estonia with Baltic Travel Company. From the very beginning, Laima provided outstanding personal service, carefully tailoring the itinerary to my preferences and ensuring every detail was organised perfectly. Tallinn was a fascinating city with beautiful medieval architecture, while Pärnu was a wonderful surprise—peaceful, elegant and ideal for relaxation. Following Laima's recommendation to stay at Villa Ammende Hotel made the trip truly special. It is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have stayed in, with exceptional service and a unique historic atmosphere. The overall experience was fantastic. “Another great holiday arranged for us by Inga, this time a self drive tour of Iceland. It's a spectacular country with lots to see. We saw humpback whales on a pre-booked whale watching trip from Husavik and an 8am visit to Geysir meant that we were the only ones there to see it erupting. All the travel plans went without a hitch and we'll definitely be back for another Baltic Travel holiday soon.”

“An Unforgettable Longyearbyen Break! I recently returned from a short holiday to Svalbard booked through Baltic Travel Company, and I had an absolutely fantastic time! This was my second time booking with them (after a wonderful trip to Riga), and their service was top-notch from start to finish. Mark was incredibly helpful when I first approached him about wanting to visit Svalbard. He went above and beyond, coming back to me with various quotes covering different hotels and different months so I could weigh up all my options. As a keen photographer, this flexibility was amazing because it allowed me to pick the absolute perfect time to go. The timing turned out to be incredible for wildlife. I managed to see and photograph Arctic foxes and a great variety of Arctic birds! The hotel Mark set up for me was great, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing (the perfect way to fuel up for a day in the Arctic). Important Tip for Future Travelers: Svalbard has a wonderful, strict local tradition where outdoor shoes are not allowed inside any hotel or your room. You leave your boots at the entrance and can walk into the hotel entirely in your socks or slippers. Because of this, the hotel kindly provides slippers for guests! I brought my own bulky ones along, so knowing this in advance would have saved me some serious packing space. Leave yours at home and use theirs. Baltic Travel booked two brilliant boat trips with Hurtigruten Svalbard for me, both of which offered incredible insights into the local environment: Walrus Safari: This was highly interesting, and the guides shared excellent information about the walruses. The included hot drink and pastry were a lovely, welcoming touch. Just keep in mind that the walruses can be quite far away, so they can be tricky to see clearly (even my telephoto lens was stretching its limits). Another tip: The crew lends out binoculars, but I only realized this toward the end of the trip. Be sure to ask for a pair right at the start. Glacier & Wildlife Silent Cruise: This was the absolute highlight of my trip! I spent my time hopping between the cozy inside benches and the outside deck taking photos. The guides gave fantastic information on local whale types, Arctic birds, glacier formation, and the history of Pyramiden. I rented binoculars from the staff this time, which made a huge difference. The provided soup was lovely, too! Thank you so much to Mark and the team at Baltic Travel Company for organizing such a seamless, photography-friendly, and magical trip. I will definitely be booking with you guys again!”

“Baltic Travel Company provided us with an excellent, personalised service that gave us the confidence to travel on our own (we're in our 70s) to three Baltic capitals. When we explained that we wanted to vary their standard holiday by flying from Scotland instead of London and spending extra time in one city to reconnect with friends, Daina quickly produced two customised itineraries that fully met our needs, and everything was booked and confirmed within a couple of days. We were provided with tickets and booking documentation, advice on checking in for flights and ferries, websites for finding further information on places to visit, detailed maps and useful apps … and even some informal recommendations on places to eat. Everything went very smoothly, the hotels were very comfortable and well located and the advice was spot on. We had a lovely holiday, walked for miles around some beautiful cities and had a great evening meeting with friends we hadn’t seen for twenty years or so (in a lovely restaurant recommended by Daina). “We've just returned from a trip to the Baltic States that took in Vilnius, Riga, Tallin and Helsinki. It proved to be an ideal introduction to these beautiful cities with English speaking city guides together with free time for unsupervised exploring. The cities are amazingly different and all are full of charm and interest. There's a lot of travelling but this is offset by well considered breaks with stops at The Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace (with the best guide you'll ever meet!) and a relaxing 2 hour ferry trip to Helsinki. Optional tours include Trakai village and castle and Laheema National Park amongst others. However, they are very expensive and it might be sensible to consider doing some of them independently. Throughout the tour travel arrangements worked well, hotels were fine and airport transfers worked pretty well despite a small glitch that was quickly resolved. Overall, the tour is a very good introduction to the countries with just the right amount of information about history and geography from a well-informed tour guide and I highly recommend the tour and the company.”

“Organized a somewhat last-minute 11 day fly/drive tour of Denmark, but it was very hard to find an agency that would work with just Denmark (most pushed just Copenhagen as part of a larger Scandi tour). Mark at Baltic was super helpful, we gave him the vaguest of goals, he came up with a suggested itinerary, which we tweaked, and then booked. Everything went smoothly, great hotel choices -- mid-priced but central and lovely, all over a really perfect trip. Mark was very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout, and we plan to book again with Baltic.”

“I travelled to North Macedonia earlier this month for a two week holiday to Skopje and Lake Ohrid. I found the staff at the company very professional and helpful. Both of the hotels in Skopje and Ohrid were excellent. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast at both were excellent and the evening meal at the hotel in Ohrid was plentiful and very good. Both hotel rooms were comfortable and large. I had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Ohrid, which was great for watching the sun setting in the evening. The Hotel Belvedere is a short taxi ride away from the main town on the lake, Ohrid. The flights with TUI Airways were very comfortable and punctual. Overall, I had a very enjoyable holiday.”

“Have just returned from a visit to Tallinn. The hotel recommended by Baltic Travel was in a great location just 7 minutes walk from the Old Town. The food was excellent and the customer service first rate. Tallinn has so much to offer visitors from the amazing town centre to the beautiful Kadriorg Park once home to Peter the Great and his wife. A thoroughly enjoyable visit.”

“Our One week fly-drive to the Faroe Islands was taylored to our wish to spend as much time as possible in rural surroundings. This worked perfectly and allowed us to enjoy lovely villages, and to drive around 7 of the main islands. We did enjoy very good weather, and the scenery was spectacular. The undersea tunnels made much of our trip possible, with tolls being charged to our rental car and paid when we handed the car back. Ending our trip at Vagar and a short walk from the airport, meant we had plenty of tme for the early morning flight back to London. Just a note to take care when trying to navigate Torshavn, road signs are not the best.”

“I wanted a trip for me and my 12 year old son that included an epic train journey, dealing with Nikola at Baltic Travel was a pleasure, Nikola was happy to try and meet our requirements and provided a few options to travel from the UK to Stockholm in Sweden, then take the Arctic Sleeper train into the Arctic Circle to Abisko for a few nights, then onto Narvik in Norway via another amazing train journey. Once we settled on a route, Nikola provided a full Itinerary of the trip, hotel details, flight and train times with maps of how to walk to our hotel for example, I couldn't have asked for anything more and I don't think I have ever received such good customer service when looking to book a holiday. I would highly recommend using this company for your travels, trips and adventures. My son and I had a adventure we will never forget, so a big thank you to Nikola and the team from us.”

“Booked with Baltic Travel. Communication was very good from first interest information to booking and return home feedback. Everything ran smoothly. Flights, taxi and hotel. We stayed at Hotel Foyoyar. Beautiful hotel overlooking Torshavn. Faroe islands are beautiful. Very dramatic scenery. We hired a car, which was delivered to the hotel. Very easy to drive around the islands. Visited Barbara Fish House restaurant. Lovely food and very efficient service. In a traditional house with grassed roof. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay made possible by Baltic Travel. Also, must mention taxi from airport. Husband's wallet fell out of his pocket in the taxi. He didn't realize until we got to our room, so wasn't sure where he had lost it. Plane, airport or taxi. He froze his cards and I messaged the airline. Next morning, taxi company rang they had his wallet. Dropped it off at reception before we went to breakfast. So thankful for finding it and returning it fully intact. So must give them a shout out.”
