“First time trip with Balkan Escape. 100% satisfied with all aspects. Jack was extremely helpful (tolerant!) with our requests to re-jig the itinerary. All aspects were great. All hotels were v good. All transfers happened on time and the recommended “things to do” were all worthwhile/enjoyable. First time in Croatia and very impressed. Locals were all very welcoming and all locations were multi-nationality - hence the standard of spoken English was higher than it is in England. No hesitation in recommending Balkan Escape to anyone considering a trip to Croatia.”

“From start to finish everything ran smoothly. Jack has tremendous knowledge and he listened to our needs and made any amendments accordingly. Hotel choices for us were First Class,and the transfers were of a very good standard. The holiday opened our eyes to the wonder of the Dalmatian Coast and we hope now to take weekends away to discover further the history of Dubrovnik and vibrancy of the centre of Split . Our want to travel and explore has been invigorated by a wonderful break in Croatia. Thank you.”

“We found Balkan Escape through an internet search and cannot recommend them enough. Jack put together our perfect holiday, it was very well organised so we didn’t have to worry about anything. “This our third holiday we have booked through Jack at Balkan Escapes and as always everything was perfect.The cruise on the first week was amazing and the hotels for our island hop on the second week of our holiday was 5star.The transfers between the airport,hotels and ferries worked like clockwork.Definitely going to book a holiday again to Croatia through Balkan Escapes.”

“Just back from a 3 destination trip to Croatia, through Balkan escapes, whole itinerary provided was excellent with all the transfers , transport provided worked like clockwork. “The holiday itinerary designed by Balkan Escape was ideal for our family. The three centre schedule gave us an excellent flavour of all regions of Slovenia - city, mountains, lakes and coastline. The flight and hotel bookings and instructions all worked smoothly. Even when the final hotel had made a mistake in our room bookings Jack sorted it all within 30 minutes. The hotels were all of a high standard with the Ljubljana and Piran hotels being excellent. The customer service at all three hotels was friendly and efficient. From start to finish Balkan Escape were a pleasure to deal with. This is our second Balkan Escape holiday and we would definitely book with them again and have recommended them to friends.”

“The holiday was well organised from start to finish. We were given a suggested itinerary, and suggested hotels, which made planning the holiday very easy. It was great to have their advice of the area. Any changes to transfers or flight times were communicated immediately before and during our stay by text and on one occasion, also by phone call! We had an amazing holiday. We'd definitely recommend Balkan Escape.”

“Very quick in responding to emails & any queries. Jack was really helpful in helping us to decide where to go/stay. Private transfers were arranged and all were on time. Would definitely use again & have already recommended to friends. Prices were competitive with other holiday companies(cheaper) & they were able to put together the package we wanted as we had found a particular hotel in one resort we wanted to stay. Other companies did not have the same flexibility & were not able to offer 2 or 3 centre holidays with transfers. Very pleased with process and all communication,thank you!”

“We had a great time. The resorts were varied and interesting. Jack’s suggestions as to what to do we’re spot on. Hotels were very good, friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Jack for sorting out the last minute ferry changes. Taxi transfers were all on time but you need to be aware that hotel Marul in Split has no vehicle access. Therefore the taxis park ‘down the road’ and don’t always notify the hotel when they arrive. Luckily the owner was aware of this and took us to the waiting taxi. Would thoroughly recommend Balkan Escape. They really put in a lot of thought and effort.”

“Service from Jack was very professional and attentive. I will book with Jack in the future and have already recommended him to potential customers. Our holiday was fantastic, a few amenities were not open as expected, however I don’t believe that Jack had been made aware of this by the hotel before our booking was made. Besides this the hotel was fantastic and private transfers ran smoothly and would no longer travel by bus.”

“The holiday we have just had to Croatia was cancelled twice before due to the Pandemic. Balkan Escape have been very informative, fair and understanding in very difficult times but last week ( at last ! ) we had one of the best holidays ever . Taking Balkan Escapes advice on a two Centre holiday we booked 4 nights in Split and then moved on by ferry to beautiful Dubrovnik for the last 3 nights . Everything about the holiday went like clockwork. A huge thank- you to Jack at Balkan Escapes we will definitely be booking with you again .”

“Good and prompt service, all ran smoothly. Villa Tuttorotto very impressive. Picked us up from taxi rank in buggy to take us and suitcase up thro the old town to the hotel. Service from Dom and Olga outstanding. Complimentary fizz at breakfast, freshly prepared eggs to order, free chocs and afternoon coffee in the lounge. They even made us a packed lunch when we were rushing off on a boat trip without any food! Sea view from room and breakfast patio delightful. Highly recommended. Would use Balkan Escape again (fancy Montenegro) and have already recommended to a friend.”

“We have just returned from a three centre holiday in Split and Brac. The Puteus Palace was delightful, only 15 rooms, extremely friendly staff lovely pool, gardens and fabulous breakfast. Later we stayed at The Lemon Garden where the gardens are truly stunning as is the private beach. The Divota in Split was an excellent location but sadly looks a little tired and breakfast was in a local restaurant. Throughout the whole holiday from booking to being away Jack was extremely professional and helpful. the Plitvice Lakes day he organised was well structured. Yes I would recommend Balkan Escapes.”
