“Balkan Escape provided a highly professional service from our first contact to arriving home from our holiday. Having never travelled to the Balkans before, we appreciated the advice Jack Fleming provided and his recommendations for our itinerary which included Croatia and Montenegro. Having all our travel plans organised for us, made our holiday all that more enjoyable”

“As the holiday was booked in less than two weeks to the actual departure date, the speed at which everything was done was impressive. Jack was extremely helpful and advised on areas such as how long it would take to walk to the port? Full of knowledge and very helpful. We also tried to speak to the local number for the room unlock in Split but they didn't answer a call or whats app. Fortunately we rang Balkan in the UK and Jack answered who passed us on to a nice lady who had stayed at the premises prior to us arriving. Sorted. Once in we were very pleasantly surprised with the interior which had been renovated. It is annoying when you are given contact details for the local contact and they dont even answer the call or reply to a message. Waste of time. They must realise that new tennants are arriving and be available. Hotel in Dubrovnik was also nice. No problems there. Only issue was Plane was delayed by an hour or so so arrived home rather late.”

“We've just returned from an amazing 2 week family holiday to Croatia booked through Balkan Escapes. We stayed in 3 locations (Split, Brac and Hvar) and whilst I had a rough idea of an itinerary before I contacted Balkan Escapes, Jack, our sales consultant did a great job of bringing it to life. His knowledge of the area was fantastic and the advice he gave us on hotel options and locations was excellent. Jack was really supportive through the booking process as we had a couple of iterations to tailor the holiday to our preferences. Nothing was too much trouble for him and all my emails and questions were answered within 24 hours too. Balkan Escapes also offered excellent advice on local excursions and travellers tips when in country plus they put our holiday details on the Trip Plans app which had all our travel details in one place, including live updates to our flights. Our holiday included multiple hotels, transfers and ferries but the logistics went like clockwork thanks to the thorough planning by Balkan Escapes, and as a result made our trip even more relaxing. Many thanks, we'd definitively recommend Jack and Balkan Escapes to our friends.”

“We have now used Balkan Escape for all our holidays for the last 10 years and the latest is again testament to why we have done so. Right from the first enquiry Jack listened to our families needs and tailored a perfect package for the 4 of us. Remembering elements from our previous holidays he went above and beyond to ensure we all were catered for not just the adults. Everything was seamless from our arrival all the way through to our departure and once again delivering a fantastic escape that we all equally enjoyed. I cannot recommend them enough for what really is a very personal company that put people first not like your typical holiday company that just try and force a package on you that doesn’t suit your needs. We will be back again for next year’s holiday without question.”

“Jack has arranged 4 holidays for us now, and he understands the type of hotel we like and what we are looking for in a holdiday. This year we visited Athens, Paros and Naxos. Accommodation was excellent, and well located. Transfers worked well, when we used them, and ferry bookings we well communicated to us (you have to check in 48 hours before your journey). The service is always exceptional and timely. We have used Balkan Escape for trips to the. Balkans and other locations, and find them to be value for money and good knowledge of the local area. Would recommend”

“I approached Balkan Escapes earlier this year to help me try and pull together a multi-centre trip to Croatia. Jack, my contact, understood our requirements immediately and was able to put together a dream holiday for us. The attention to detail was phenomenal; each stage of the trip was meticulously planned and included recommendations on things to see and do. The hotels we stayed in were fantastic; all in great locations, an amazing breakfast, and managed by attentive staff. We faced flight delays on our way home, but were kept up to date by Balkan Escapes on an almost minute by minute basis, which made a long day a little less stressful. “Jack helped us organise the most amazing trip to Croatia. The hotels were exactly as expected, the transfers were always on time and the excursion recommendations were excellent. We booked a couple of excursions through Viatur, as suggested by Jack, and these were also excellent - the white water rafting; ziplining and eco tuk tuk tour of Split. The staff were all enthusiastic and professional. All in all, we felt supremely well looked after and would definately use Balkan Escapes again! Thank you”

“Fantastic service, talented trip exactly to our needs (family with older teens) All questions and queries answered quickly H 2 centre holiday was great and all went to plan. 2nd hotel on lopud was a little dated (AC not working and although staff fixed quickly never really worked) and staff inexperienced no real issues Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a croatia holiday that is slightly different to main travel agencies. Would l9ve to back and explore other parts of the region and would use Balkan Escape again.”

“Excellent! I first started contacting Balkan escape after seeing they organised Croatian holidays. I sent a email outline what we wanted and with a day or so I got a response with a fully costed holiday. With a few minor tweaks after given multiple options such as hotel location and potential hotel upgrades, we had the holiday planned with a very simple payment link sent over once I was happy to pay the deposit. I also want to add from the start not only was the itinerary planned for hotels, transfer and ferry’s there was also some great tourist activity suggestions made for each of the areas we visited. Our agent Jack kept in touch regularly for updates on flights. As well as receiving updates through the travel app which had our itinerary for even small flight changes. The hotels picked out were excellent, the organisation spot on, It was great holiday was everything we wanted. A great trip to Dubrovnik, Hvar & split. Will definitely use Balkan Eacape again for future bookings in Europe.”
