“This is our second holiday with Balkan Escape and both times we have had wonderful holidays. Our first trip was isalnd hopping with stays at 4 different places and our last trip was a 2 centre trip on the mailnland coast. They provide tailor made itineraries at a very reasonable cost. Jack gave us advice based on our interests about where to stay and for how long. He was happy to discuss and modify the first draft of the itinereary with choices of hotels and rooms etc. All the arrangements worked perfectly with transfers always on time, late arrival at hotels organised etc. We will be booking with Balkan Escape again in the knowledge that they will provide us with an interesting and well planned trip.”

“We have just returned from our second holiday organised by Jack and his team at Balkan Escape. Following a fabulous trip to Dubrovnik and Korcula last September we decided to book an early summer holiday to Slovenia and Trieste. Once again, the service, from the moment we made contact, was impeccable. Jack's suggested itinerary was perfect, all the transfers were seamless, the hotels exceptional. We have recommended Balkan Escape to several friends and we would not hesitate to book with them again ourselves. We were delighted to learn that the company can organise trips to destinations other than the Balkans, so we will be in contact again soon for help in selecting an early autumn getaway!”

“We have never tried a 3-centre holiday before which included ferries and we were pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went. Everything was covered and explained in detail before we started the holiday which was a great comfort. Jack was an excellent advisor and answered all our questions with a phone call or a prompt email. We cannot fault the service and would definitely recommend to family and friends.”

“My wife and I were pleased with the hotels in all 4 places in Lake Bled, Ljubljana, Trieste and Piran. The private transfers were excellent and took away any stress. “Just returned from a week in Croatia. Balkan escapes have been amazing throughout the process. A special mention to Heather, who was the most patient and helpful travel agent I have experienced, Heather met all my requirements, offered valuable advice and gave me lots of options based on our discussions. The choices of location, hotels etc. were perfect. Transfers were seamless between locations. Jack provided a detailed summary of my booking, including all dates/times, which was great to have in one email before I travelled. I would highly recommend and would most definitely use Balkan escapes in the future.”

“We spoke to Jack Fleming, who listened to our request and very quickly supplied us with an itinerary. Everything went to plan and we had a really enjoyable trip. The accommodation was excellent especially the 3 in the traffic free streets which meant we were very close to the attractions ( albeit the room in Dubrovnik was very small} . All transfers were on time. Balkan Escape provided a day to day trip log and additional information which was very useful. We would definitely recommend them and look forward to using them in the future.”

“Dealing was Balkan Escape was a joy from the start. Jack was really interested in what I wanted from my trip and tailored everything to meet that. The price was very good, the service and communication was great and the holiday was excellent. The recommendations for day trips were also really helpful. “We were extremely impressed with our whole experience using Balkan Escape. Jack responded to our initial enquiry very promptly and provided an itemised suggested itinery based on our budget. Our holiday covered four different areas of Croatia and we were a little concerned how well this would work. However, Balkan Escape arranged all our taxi and ferry transfers, booked our accommodation and checked in our flights. They provided us with transfer vouchers and information of when and where we would be collcted and it all worked perfectly ! Thank you for a lovely stress free holiday. “We wanted to explore Croatia by staying in 3 resorts. Balkan escapes sorted this perfectly, booking lovely hotels meeting our requirements eg. swimming pool/hot tub. The location of each hotel was ideal for exploring each city. The initial booking was thorough, including transfer from airport on arrival, transfer for collection of hire car, boarding passes and wonderful recommendations for activities in each location. These allowed us freedom to choose which ones suited us. Balkan Escapes warned of building work at one hotel which was out of their control and to be honest we were able to close the curtains and it didn't spoil our enjoyment at all. It was a wonderful stress free holiday and we would definitely recommend them.”

“From start to finish your service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The information you gave us regarding flights, hotels and transfers was very clear. We would certainly use you again and wouldn't hesitate to to recommend you. There is only one thing that I would like to discuss. That is the Aminess Korcula Heritage hotel. It was a lovely hotel in an excellent position. Friendly staff and lovely dining room. The main problem was that there was no lift. There were 51 steps to our room. There were no bedrooms on floors below us. Perhaps that should be made clear in your suggestions of hotels. The bathroom was very small too. Thank you for making our trip to Croatia a lovely hassle free holiday.”

“From initial contact to the end of the holiday everything went as planned. The flights, transfers and accommodation were all excellent, on time and efficient taking any worries away. A triathlon in Kotor on the day of our return closed the main road. Jack from Balkan contacted us and made alternative arrangements to get us to the airport on time. “We enjoyed a 3 centre Croatia holiday over 18 days. Balkan Escapes listened to my brief and preferences and put together an excellent itinerary. The holiday worked seamlessly - the hotels were exactly as expected - the airport transfers were great quality, on time, polite, and friendly. The transfers by high speed ferries worked perfectly.
