“We had a lovely 2 centre holiday through Balkan escapes which was so restful, well organised and person centred. From the start staff were so helpful giving options and making suggestions and tailoring it around what we wanted. Communication was exceptional and all hotels and transfers exactly as described. We would never have put together such a great holiday independently!”

“Excellent holiday in Montenegro and Korcula, Croatia. Balkan Escape's organisation worked to the letter, everything exactly as planned. Sea Star Hotel in Becici was wonderful, immaculate with wonderful staff and perfectly sited right on the beach with many restaurants and bars nearby. Aminess Liburna Hotel, in Korcula, has arguably the finest view in the world, looking across a beautiful Adriatic bay onto Korcula Old Town, less than 900 metres away, breathtaking. We had a beautiful double level room with the balcony overlooking the same view. OK, the hotel generally could do with an update but it was fine. Balkan Escapes sorted the transfers (including ferries) from and back to Dubrovnik Airport, they were all punctual in very comfortable cars, drivers were very good and informative. Never travelled with Balkan Escapes before but I wouldn't hesitate to do so again, thank you for this wonderful holiday.”

“I was recommende Jack Flemming by friends of ours. He certainly didn't disappoint. The trip went like clock work, the flights, transfers, the hotels were amazing, great location in Split and then Bol in Brac. Excellent, the service the communication, nothing was any trouble. Would highly recommend Balkan Escape and will definately use them again. Thankyou for giving us a memorable trip with the family, coordinating, two airports and the logistics of the holiday. “We had an amazing trip to Croatia, island hopping from split to Hvar and Brac, we enjoyed each location and the weather was perfect. The accommodation was perfect for us too, Using Balkan escape to recommend accommodation and book everything up for us was took all the stress away from searching ourselves, we also loved all the top tips on places to visits and excursions. “We had an absolutely brilliant holiday. I Found Jack and his company on line when searching for Croatia ideas. and the whole process from start to finish was exceptional. Easy to reach, great communication etc. I told him roughly what we wanted and he planned it all for us. Everything was perfect. I absolutely loved Croatia and the Islands and would have no hesitation not to use Jack and his company again. Even when there was a slight problem due to a ferry journey due to a change in the weather, Jack dealt with this smoothly and easily and kept us in the loop over the change. He was always on hand. Much better service than using a big call centre type travel agent. Well done Jack and team. I will so tell others about Croatia and to use Balkan Escape x Oh. My trip was to Split, Brac and Hvar staying a few nights in each. They were all stunning. Not to mention all the other day trips and sights we saw. Croatia is now one of my favourite places x”

“Wonderful holiday, excellent service by Balkan Escapes. Transfers all very good and on time. Accommodation very good and breakfasts. Good value. Only one negative comment. The welcome in Dubrovnik was a bit cursory although the accommodation was fine. The breakfast in Dubrovnik was not good - serve yourself coffee (not very delicious) machine for whole restaurant of people, so took 10 minutes to get coffee in morning standing up. One waiter serving whole restaurant. Had a rather stale croissant so didn't bother using our voucher second day and went elsewhere. That is the only downside. I will be recommending you to any friends who fancy going to Croatia.”

“Another excellent holiday to the Dalmatian Coast, staying on Hvar and Brač. We also visited the Makarska Riviera on the Croatia Mainland. Couldn't fault any aspect of our holiday. The flights were all on time or early. The Hotels in Hvar Town (Amfora Grand Hotel) and in Bol on Brač (Hotel Elephusa) were very good, ideal locations with great facilities and close to many fantastic beaches and easy walking distance of towns with many great restaurants and bars. The road transfers to and from Split airport to the Port were comfortable, on time with excellent drivers. Even when there was a slight hiccup when our original Ferry from Hvar to Bol was cancelled due to tidal conditions, Jack (Balkan Escape) contacted us direct and arranged an alternative Ferry transfer and emailed the Tickets within a couple of hours. Bol is an ideal location to stay on Brač, just a 35 minutes ferry ride to Makarska on the mainland, we will definitely be visiting again and again using Balkan Escape. Every detail of your holiday is taken care of and this NOT reflected in the price that you pay as they are very competitive.”

It was good to have tickets and passes printed and sent to us and the app with itinerary and suggestions was very helpful. “Booking was easy & any communication was prompt & helpful Hotels were good but some had no lift which made getting cases up stairs difficult for our age group The first 2 did have a lift inside the 3one on Brac didn’t and was positioned well up a hill Ok if you are reasonable fit Think would have been better to have 4 nights on Hvar island & 3 on Brac as there seems to to more to do especially if you were using the local bus. Found food on the whole was fairly expensive Would have liked kettle in room Hotel in Hvar happy to make tea in the evening The pick up and transport arrangements were spot on it saved a lot of hassle All in all well planned holiday would recommender you to others”

“We have just returned from a 3 centre holiday to Croatia and were delighted with the service provided by Jack at Balkan Escapes. All the hotels were amazing and in great locations. All our transfers were perfectly timed and well organized. It was great to be able to choose from the range of accomodation which were all of good quality and were tailored to suit our budget. Also it was great to have any the knowledge that someone was on the end ofa phone should we have needed any help (which we didn't). Thank you once again and we hope to visit Montenegro and maybe another Balkan country in the future. We would have no hesitation in booking thorugh Balkan Escapes again.”

“We were very pleased with the balance between suggestions being made for our itinerary and being able to tailor timings and costs to make a bespoke holiday. Customer service was very good, we were informed at each stage of information we needed to make choices or to plan well. We felt comfortable in all three locations - two hotels and an apartment. Possibly the second hotel was more of a climb than we had anticpated but we were kept fit! All transfers were immaculate in punctuality and with helpful text confirmations the night before. We wouldn't hesitate to use Balkan Escapes again now that we know they serve other geogrphical areas too.”

“We had such a wonderful experience booking our holiday through Balkan Escape! From the very beginning, the team really listened to what we were looking for and built an itinerary that ticked all the boxes. It felt very personal to us, and we managed to see and do everything we had hoped for during our time in Croatia. The accommodation was excellent – both the hotel and the apartment were in fantastic locations, and if anything, they were even better in person than we expected. The private transfers were also a real highlight: luxury vehicles, friendly drivers, and everything ran so smoothly. The service from Balkan Escape was brilliant throughout. The team worked (and reworked!) the details of our trip until everything was just right, and it really showed. It made the whole experience stress-free, and we felt very well looked after. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to make it clearer online which countries they cover. If most destinations are available, it would be great to see that upfront when browsing. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to book through Balkan Escape again – in fact, I’ve already recommended them to my family after such a positive experience. Thank you for helping us create such a memorable holiday – we’ll definitely be back!”
