I am writing regarding AWBS in Yarnton. Customer service in this branch is minus zero! The so-called ''branch manager''! is a real ''MACHO'', no wonder you should avoid any debate and save yourself! Don't want to waste more time and go to details, just do NOT buy from AWBS in Yarnton, they don't respect their customers. I wish I could give them ''NO'' star at all!

Hi Rodney, you have left us a one star review despite us making repeated attempts to contact you all last week and arrange delivery of your paving slabs once they were in stock. You then informed us that you had no access to your phone last week. AWBS.

I am a long time customer of awbstld. However, I spoke to a service rep who claimed to be Adrian White this morning. He stated clearly "we are not interested in your business, to supply and deliver soil". Absolute, shame. No problem solving or asking how you can help. If this was Adrian who I spoke to then you must have too many clients. You aren't getting any of my business or my clients. Thank you for your past efforts.

With regards to your complaint, it was explained to you that, due to unprecedented customer demand, our entire soil stock is currently allocated to customers awaiting delivery. Hi Ian, thank you for your feedback. Your order was placed as a collection and refunded in full after a conversation with our Oxford branch. We offer a local delivery service to the Oxford and Swindon areas, therefore we were unable to deliver to you based on your location, so the order was fully refunded. Apologies for any confusion. Unfortunately I've got to join the multiple other people who has had the misfortune to encounter the rude staff at AWBS Oxford. I've used them a few times and staff have been a bit hit and miss, sometimes helpful sometimes rude. Unfortunately they excelled themselves recently after telling me they had put items aside to collect I made the journey to find they had sold them without explanation. The staff member completely uninterested and rude bordering on aggressive. Refused to take any responsibility or apologise because it was 'just turf'. Felt a bit like dealing with a petulant child. Mistakes happen but being rude and unhelpful is harder to justify. I try to support a local business where possible but there are plenty other more professional companies that will be getting my business.

Shocking service send me wrong delivery And they blamed me for not excepting the delivery and charged me 20 percent of perches. Delivery driver was very rude and staff was not helpful.

I placed an order for Cotswold chippings 12/03/21, delivery was confirmed for 17/03/21. Then received a phone call saying the order would be delayed 10 days because of quality issues. That's the last and only call they so fit to make. Now at 12/04/21 and after several emails and a phone call, by my self, still no answer. They took the money quick enough.

Requested a selected delivery date, awbs agreed to deliver on that date. Waited all day, it never arrived. They had loaded it on the lorry for the next day! Couldn’t understand my frustration at being let down! Days annual leave wasted!

Not at all pleased with service at Yarnton, they really couldn't be bothered to help at all. Going somewhere else with my custom where I'll get the support and help we need.

Very aggressive response when I asked about a delivery. Customer service skills non existent. If they are having a bad day, don’t take it out on the customers who pay your salary and keep your business going. Not the first time. I would go elsewhere if I could find products elsewhere.

Used AWBS Oxford for the last 15 years . But after the way I spoken to Today by I was informed was the owner . We ordered turf went to collect and was given the wrong ticket . I returned to the offfice a lady was outside looking at the display of stone . So I walked in to try and get the correct ticket ( your mistake not mine ) I was then told in a abrupt manner To leave the office as the lady was waiting. In front of other members of staff. Have you never been on a customer service course you are RUDE Don’t care if you are the owner or not get some manners. We will not be using AWBS every ag

Very hard to leave a review when I haven’t received my order! I received an acknowledgment of my order but there was no communication of when it would arrive. I phoned them up and they told me it would be that day or “maybe Monday”. It hasn’t arrived - no apology, no explanation. Not impressed at all with their customer service- very poor

Unusually poor service. Only on day of delivery they discovered they didn't have any stock. A complaint and request for a delivery date has gone unanswered

However we are expecting new stock to be available over the weekend, therefore we will be able to deliver to you as soon as we can next week. After 3 years of buying your fence panels, today I received 3 fence panels without fence posts. The driver said you've stopped doing this since COVID, I've checked your website but no indication anything had changed although you don't mention the posts either. If I'd known I could have the oppportunity to check out other fence panel websites as the price has now increased by £11.26 making this a 41% increase!!! The least AWBS could have done is contacted me, it's obvious on the order I cannot fit new fence panels without posts.

Hi Paul, unfortunately due to availability issues throughout the year we have had to remove the vast majority of our offers and multi-buy deals from our stock range, both in-store and online. This was clearly stated on our homepage back in July when we reopened our site again after the initial lockdown and the banner notice stating this was in place for several months. We also removed any references to the free post offer at the same time. Apologies for any confusion. AWBS.

Website detailed product as in stock, only to find after payment had been made this wasn’t the case. Made a call to the office to ask for a lead time and was told “it won’t be in next week, may be the week after but I’m not sure really so I don’t know”. I have a deadline for a new development show home and now unable to provide my client with a definitive date this will be installed. I am currently awaiting confirmation from AWBS when and if I’ll get the product.

Ordered online on 29 july. Just got email to say it was ordered from supplier. Had call on 25 Aug which we did not hear to say they we 're delivering NOW. Was just dumped at back gate. My partner is disabled and 74 yrs old. They could have txt or rang day b4. When I rang he said they didn't have time to ring day b4. RUBBISH. NOT HAPPY WITH COMPANY. What if we had been away. Not every customer is able bodied or elderly and if they had notified us before they would have been aware of this. Having sofa delivered this week and they have kept us informed all the way along. What if they just dumped it on front door. I am Chris Turner partner and I am not happy with your company and will not buy from you again. You need to review

Misleading. Was not informed anywhere along the buying process that the clearly marked 'FREE' point fix offer in the sales brochure had been pulled. Even a verbal conversation with a staff member (12 June 20) stated that each pack came with a free point fix. Only on calling after the slabs had been delivered was I informed that this was not the case. Unimpressed and unhelpful customer service when spending such a large sum. Slabs and delivery fine.
