Ordered goods all seemed ok. Then first delivery was cancelled as their driver was sick so rescheduled for today. No sign of delivery and its close to 5pm. Tried calling but straight to mobile voice mail and guess what the mailbox was full so taking no messages. No e mail or call to update me. Not impressed.

Ordered 10mm but 6 turned up. Driver had invoice showing 6 and unfortunately I accepted. Not good

I rang up this morning to speak to a member of staff regarding a failed delivery. The young man was kind enough to look on the systems and confirm that the delivery was supposed to have happened yesterday and said he would speak to transport to understand what has happened. I called back and spoke to a lovely lady who said she would get back to me once she knew more. I got a call few minutes later by a very aggressive and Irate employee called Colin who stopped me in my track shouting down the Phone over me and alleging that I was threatening to staff members and asked that if I wanted a refund, I should read my credit card details to him on the phone. Why on earth would I read my credit card details to anyone on the phone in these trying times with fraud on a rise. Colin was very loud on the phone and patronising and condescending and he clearly needs Anger Management courses, or he should be removed from a customer focused role to the Yard where he can’t deal with customers on a daily base and ruin the reputation of a good company. I will happily wait for my order to be delivered but as a letting’s Director for a property firm, I will not be using AWBS again for any of my properties due to such disgusting attitude from Mr Colin. I will ask my clients and partners as well as family and friends to stay clear due to this attitude as one bad egg can spoil the rest. I will also be requesting a transcript of my conversations with the staff members I spoke to this morning as Colin did say that I was threatening to staff when this is not the case, I am sure phone calls are recorded for issues such as this. AWBS needs to get something done to help Mr Colin in whatever is going on with him as an employee or in his personal life as his attitude is not what customers should have to deal with moving forward.

Rang to get advice for suitable soil for levelling lawn and for flower borders. Recommended the loam top soil. Very disappointed at the quality full of stones and pebbles and appears to be mostly sand. Visually it looks like it has been scrapped from a building site. I have applied two packets of grass seed followed the instructions but still cannot get the seed to grow. The soil looks totally lifeless. To be fair the delivery was excellent.

The Blended Loam topsoil that we supply is our most popular soil product and it certainly should not look as you have described. Went to the Oxford branch and ordered x1 850 Kg of gravel and they stated it would be Wed/Thu delivery. No contact and no delivery so I phoned at 16:00 hrs on the Thursday. They then said they had none left in the country. So my wife went over to try and select a different gravel but they did not have any in the correct colour. They then refused to provide our money back and only offered a store credit note. This is illegal and caused my wife a distinct level of stress. We are now waiting for a delivery estimated to be 8th June. Terrible and illegal customer services. I suggest you think again before selecting this supplier.

Ordering was easy enough. The next day I had an email to say order would be delivered in two days time. 20 minutes later had another email to say due to issues with a previous delivery my order was delayed. I called and was told that the company no longer deliver to my area, OX14. Funny as only two weeks earlier they had delivered exactly the same product I was trying to order. Disappointed.

As discussed we wanted to find out more details from the Ministry of Transport with regards any future deliveries to this area before we were able to deliver your goods on this occasion. Received a very rude e-mail saying that they were not interested in quoting, having sent them the design. No explanation as to why- very poor service after excellent contact at Yarnton centre.
