“Have had great service from AWBS Kidlington on two occasions now. Very helpful on telephone and no hassle with placing orders online. Really appreciated delivery of smaller items during lockdown as shielding. Those delivering have been cheerful and helpful. Thanks to all involved.”

“Really pleased with how quickly our order was delivered by AWBS. We ordered some small bags of slate one day and they were delivered the next day. They also delivered some compost during the lockdown and that was a next-day delivery too. They have a god range of products and at a good price too. And, of course, delivery was free.”

“Rang to get advice for suitable soil for levelling lawn and for flower borders. Recommended the loam top soil. Very disappointed at the quality full of stones and pebbles and appears to be mostly sand. Visually it looks like it has been scrapped from a building site. I have applied two packets of grass seed followed the instructions but still cannot get the seed to grow. The soil looks totally lifeless. To be fair the delivery was excellent.”

The Blended Loam topsoil that we supply is our most popular soil product and it certainly should not look as you have described. “I received this afternoon, outstanding service from Darren, delivery driver from Oxford. A few days ago I ordered 30 bags Topsoil 20 ltr small bags (total weight 0.57 tonne). I am an oldie and having to shield during the current lock down crisis. Darren reversed his vehicle down my drive and neatly stacked the bags in columns of '5' by the side gate. I had been dreading having to move the soil using my trolley from the top of the drive. I really appreciated the service shown. Well done again Darren”

“Went to the Oxford branch and ordered x1 850 Kg of gravel and they stated it would be Wed/Thu delivery. No contact and no delivery so I phoned at 16:00 hrs on the Thursday. They then said they had none left in the country. So my wife went over to try and select a different gravel but they did not have any in the correct colour. They then refused to provide our money back and only offered a store credit note. This is illegal and caused my wife a distinct level of stress. We are now waiting for a delivery estimated to be 8th June. Terrible and illegal customer services. I suggest you think again before selecting this supplier.”

“Have used AWBS for years now for garden supplies and always been top notch. In the last year they block paved our drive and put up a fence in the garden and sorted the lawn which had an ugly concrete path running down the middle. All done to high standard; the team are friendly and make sure they understand what you want before starting. Highly recommended.”
