“Dear Avon Ruby Team, Thank you for reaching out to request feedback regarding the recent work carried out at my property. Unfortunately, I have to say that my overall customer experience was very disappointing. During and after the work, it became clear that one or two mistakes were made by the roofer assigned to the job. These errors resulted in damage and further leaks in my kitchen, which has been extremely frustrating and inconvenient. What added to my disappointment was the fact that the roofer was unwilling to acknowledge or take responsibility for these mistakes when they were raised. I believe that honesty and accountability are essential, especially when issues arise that directly affect a customer’s home. I am sharing this feedback sincerely and honestly in the hope that it will be taken constructively and used to improve both workmanship and customer service going forward. Kind regards, RB”

“Used this company via an insurance claim and it was an absolute disaster. Left with no heating or hot water for over a week during a cold spell. A poorly fitted part caused electrical issues due to water ingress, and a second incorrect repair attempt resulted in serious boiler damage. What should have been a simple fix turned into a nightmare. I had to get a second opinion to confirm the damage and cancelled further visits to prevent even more problems. Avoid at all costs.”

“The bathroom sink was leaking. Had insurance and they asked Avon Ruby to turn up. The plumber turned up and gave a completely wrong diagnosis by stating that it was the tap was faulty. We figured out afterwards the fault was not related to the tap. Got another plumber and they just came today (Sunday) who's a family friend. The issue was the Flexi pipe that was damaged and that was replaced. Morale of the story is that the tap was never faulty! Never use these lot again and will inform the bank as well.”

“I had various work carried out by Avon Ruby including tiling, redecoration and plumbing work. They’re always very punctual about their time and work quality commitments. Oliver, Isaac and Andrew they all did great jobs. Whoever needs any help about home maintenance, I undoubtedly recommend Avon Ruby. Thank you Avon Ruby!”

“Very happy with the service, a surveyor was booked in and came on time . The work was scheduled when it was convenient for us. The Plasterer/painter Danny couldn’t of been nicer , very professional and very happy with works completed. He made the experience for my mother stress free as she gets very anxious with works going on.”

“Title: Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience I had a very poor experience with Avon Ruby. A surveyor appointment, which had been scheduled over a week in advance, was cancelled at the last minute without any prior notice or communication. To make matters worse, when I contacted the company regarding the cancellation, I was dealt with by their Contracts Manager, Paula, who was extremely rude and unapologetic. Her dismissive attitude added to an already frustrating situation and reflected a serious lack of professionalism. I had taken annual leave specifically to be available for this appointment, which I was unable to cancel due to the short notice given by Avon Ruby. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time. I expected a basic level of respect and communication, and unfortunately, Avon Ruby fell far below that standard.”

“Excellent service, always contactable, very proficiently and professional and pleasant operatives. Have (unfortunately) had to utilise their services because of breakdowns, but can only commend them. Would definitely recommend them.”
