“I purchased an Avaris Odysey on line after having researched a number of other makes both on line and local shops.I was a bit apprehensive making such a major purchase on line. First I contacted customer services by email with a few questions about the bike and they were promptly answered. I then made the purchase and the bike was promptly delivered 7 days later by Parcel Force. I was given a delivery time frame and that was kept. The bike arrived well packaged and undamaged. I only had to straighten and tighten the handlebars and attach the pedals. The battery took about 6hours to fully charge. The bike rides so smoothly and appears very solid. Early days yet but after 20 miles I am pretty confident all will be ok. I was also sent a £30 Halfords gift voucher shortly after purchase. I would just like to add that I purchased the bike just before they dropped the price. I contacted customer service and they sent me back the difference within a few days. I highly recommend this company. The product appears good and the customer service is excellent.”

“Love my bike and the service was excellent. Handlebars were slightly damaged when I got the bike (due to courier, not Avaris), but following a quick email, suitable replacement grips were sent promptly. Compared to similar bikes online, this is arguably the best value out there! Superb!”

“Hi there. I bought a Avaris 3.6 Electric Assist Hybrid Road eBike. For my son. I was a bit unsure about buying online for a bike as I have many bike which I've always bought by seeing before I buy. But I've got to admit the bike came and as advertised it was 95% built and it only took 20 mins to put all together following the video instructions on YouTube. My son is very very pleased with it and the quality of the bike. Would we recomend them to others yes.”

“I bought the Avaris as I wanted a road bike style and mudguards. It feels great and rides well. My commute to work has dropped from 45 minutes to 23 and I no longer need a sit down after the hill climbs. It is solidly put together and the all black finish is unobtrusive. Service was excellent and there was little assembly to do.”

“Well truth i was sceptical ordering on line, but honestly dont think twice. Great product, the bike is delivering all advertised. Arrived and assembled, off riding within 45 minutes. Could not be happier. Buy, buy this bike Averis Odysey mountain bike. Enough said, 6 stars”

“Been out on a number of occasions with the bike and absolutey love it. Makes cycling so much more pleasurable knowing the hills are going to be conquered without killing myself lol. A real good looking bike as well with good comments coming from friends who have viewed. At a fraction of the price of others on the market why not give it a go. “The Avaris Odysey mountain bike is amazing fun! Riding through the forests and trails with all the fun of the downhills and the fantastic pedal assist on the uphills. To get the best results you should change your gears as often as you would on a normal bike so you are always in the optimum gear when you need it. This method allowed me to only use pedal assist level 1 which I found gave great assistance on the uphills removing the pain while still getting the gain of a great workout and the energy to stay out and ride for longer.”

“The bike looks smart, and it is well build. I highly recommend it, but there are several points for people to consider. The first is that the handlebar is very thick and it is difficult to fit any extras like a bell or headlights. The second thing I would like to mention is that the bike is a road bike. I was under the impression that it was a hybrid! It is still early days and I have only gone out on my bike a few times, but I would like the battery to last a little longer. It is great for cycling occasionally, or for recreational purposes. Cycling to work every day or for longer distances would mean that you would have to charge the battery regularly. The assistant cycling works really well - especially for people who have not cycled for some time. The bike is heavier than I thought it would be - the battery is very heavy. I would have liked the option of having a panel to protect the battery cavity when the battery is out. Overall, I love this bike and I would highly recommend it. I look forward to using it more as the weather improves.”

“Had the bike for just over a month now, so been using for winter road riding. So far very impressed with the bike, I've done over 150 miles, it's handled everything encountered on the roads. The electronic assist is extremely handy and powerful when needed. Would say excellent spec for the price.”
