Customer after sale service is a disgrace.they can't fix there own bikes and try to work there way out of their mistakes.was told by Chris and Richard bike was out of stock now.i checked web site and there were 11 in stock.what sort of business treats customers like this?stay well clear

Hello Elizabeth, When you received your bike, it looked like a spoke had come loose on delivery. We sent you instructions and a video on how to fix this. You said you won't do any work to fix the bike yourself, so we paid to have the bike returned, fixed the issue by replacing the back wheel with a new wheel and sent the bike back to you in complete working order. You then said you wanted another bike sending instead in a size we are out of stock off and you were going to trading standards if we didn't reply within an hour, with a solution. We said we can't send a bike we don't have in stock at this time, so we will refund your order and let you keep what was a fully functioning bike. I'm not sure what more we could do for you in this situation? Many Thanks The Avaris Team
I still haven't received it so can't comment. Delivery process was a farce. I should have gone to a shop to avoid delays... ordered over two weeks ago!

Hi Steven, Thanks for your feedback. As discussed in correspondence with yourself. You stated a specific delivery date which was not picked up by our carrier Evri. The bike was then delivered with a proof of delivery and an accompanying image of the bike delivered outside your home. You then said you were not home and the bike was never received, so presumed stolen. We have therefore sent another bike to you via Parcel Force on a 48 hour lead time. We have recently changed our carrier from Evri to Parcelforce, who offer a better customer service and contact customers directly with a delivery slot, which can be amended if required. This change was made to avoid further incidents like this and improve customer satisfaction
I'm still waiting on my Avaris bike to arrive!! I ordered the bike 6 days ago on a Friday which was the September weekend. I heard nothing till the Wednesday when I looked at the tracking details which said the bike was damaged and would be returned. I then called avaris who said someone would call me back which they did quickly. After a chat they asked if I would like a refund or another bike, well another bike please and it would arrive on Thursday. Today is Thursday evening and still no bike!!! So again I went onto the DX tracking for delivery which said " non delivery ". I've waited in all day on my day off and no phone calls from Avaris nor emails from DX. Soo disappointed with the last of communication from Avaris and DX. I wouldn't buy from them again nor recommend them. Also seen it cheaper elsewhere but wouldn't give a price match. Hi Karen, Apologies for the delayed response on this, we were waiting to get all the information from our carrier DX. We've seen the order was placed on Friday 24th September at 3:44PM, this was past our 3Pm despatch cut off so the product was sent Monday morning on the 27th September, we then heard back from the carrier on Wednesday 29th September informing us the bike had been refused on delivery, and so was returned to us. I believe our customer services team then spoke to you and you confirmed you wanted the bike, so this was despatched on Thursday 30th September and delivered on Friday 1st October. It does appear as though there was a mix up with the carrier DX somewhere and they mentioned it was mis-scanned at some point. Although, we advertise 2-3 days delivery, our delivery is actually next day if ordered before 3PM. We have fallen short of our service expectations here so can only apologise. As a gesture of goodwill, would you be willing to receive a 10% refund for the inconvenience? Many Thanks The Avaris Team
