“From 'order' to 'delivery' was good and quick, however, on delivery day I requested a call from the haulier, this didn't happen and the 15 minutes to check the goods didn't really materialise either. Once the boxes were unpacked, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the furniture, it's clearly 'rattan' style and effectively plastic. It takes a lot longer than the 90 minutes to put together. The metal structure is pretty poor and it won't be long before the rot sets as there were traces of rust already. Overall pretty disappointing.”

“Bought the two chairs / two seater sofa and a 4 seater corner unit. I wish I had not bothered with the corner unit . The quality is considerably worse and it costs more , beware the back cushions are terrible quality and as some one else noted you can feel the back of the wicker on your back which makes the whole thing uncomfortable . Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired - would avoid them if possible.”

“After initially ordering and paying by debit card Abreo cancelled my order the next day and refunded my money which I hadn’t asked them to do. So I rang them and was told to reorder it so I went on their website and it was now out of stock! I checked their website everyday until it came back in stock 5 weeks later but advertised at a much higher price. I ordered it anyway as I believed it to be a quality furniture set which now cost me £749 instead of £699 but on arrival it was obvious that the cushions are cheap, not waterproof and uncomfortable after 15 minutes use as they flatten out easily when sat on. I rang to complain but was told this is the cushion set that comes with this set.....I’m not happy with this explanation, even if it cost me money to upgrade the cushions I would but haven’t been offered any solutions by Abreo”

“lovely looking furniture. What a nightmare to put together. It came with about 200 Alan key screws and because you have to put the screw on the inside so you can’t see them that means the Alan key can only do half a turn. If it had normal screws I would of had this done in half an hour. You will need a lot of patience to build one of these sets.”

“Packaging poor one table damaged. Goods were hanging off the Pallet which was not shrink wrapped at the base, everything stacked on top cracking the surface glass of one table. To date Abero have ignored my emails and images sent.”

“Wrong sofa delivered, wouldn’t send the correct one out until this was received back.. Found staff on the phone miserable and not going out of there way to help! Things only changed as soon as the manager got involved. 3 days of waiting in just to have my correct order. Not good customer service!”

“Product (Scandinavian Oak Dining Chair) was not listed as a flat pack on website. The screw holes on 2 of the 4 the chair seats were slightly in the wrong place, a replacement seat was sent by customer service but was a different diameter! Solved the problem myself by using the original seats and hitting the chair legs with a rubber mallet (aggressively) until I was able to force the screw holes to line up. Screws provided to attached the back rest (M6 20mm) are just too short so its impossible to screw the last one in due to the tension of the chair back. Customer services could not send suitable ones so got some M6 25mm screws on ebay. Frustrating quality issues, never had so many problems with a flat pack.”

“There was a scratch on the front which was a shame. A simple quality test would have picked that up. Only noticed when built so reluctant to return.”

“The assembly instructions supplied where a poor photocopy of not very good diagrams so I had to figure out how to build it myself. A job that should have taken an hour has taken five days. The unit is of reasonable quality and certainly worth the price but if you're not 'handy' don't bother.”
