“I've received two Artful boxes already - Lino Print and Watercolour. I love them both, they are excelent and it's great to receive everything you need to start with the new medium. Also the magazines are extremely interesting, beautiful and inspiring! Love them also! Can't wait to receive the next box. The only thing I found strange - the watercolours had only names of each colour on them, but no information on pigments, if the colour is transparent or not, and if they are light resistant or not. I always thought that that basic information has to be on every colour of quality.”

“Dear Artful Staff, thank you so much for your carefully arranged boxes. I’ve only had two boxes from you until today but I can clearly see that you put all your heart in your boxes. I equally love the art supplies and the magazine. It’s always a pleasure to me to read about artists, get to know their work and then start being creative myself with the things you sent me. All the things you send are of really high quality and it’s a pleasure to work with them. Unfortunately, there are very big problems with the parcel service DPD and their business partner Sovereign Courier which ship to Germany. My parcel with the additional watercolors, which I ordered after I got the Watercolor box in June, already arrived two weeks ago in Germany but has still not been delivered to my house. I contacted DPD several times to solve the problem but they just don’t seem to care about it. I am very unhappy with their service and can only ask you not to ship parcels with them again to Germany. The parcels before were shipped with FedEx and DHL and I never had any problem with these companies. Thank you very much. Kind regards from Germany Anna”

However. we're very sorry to hear about the issues you have had with the upgrade box being delivered. As the upgrade box was sent out from our Ohhdeer.com website, as opposed to the Artful website, this is why the box was sent with DPD instead of the usual FedEx/DHL. Rest assured we are currently in the process of updating our shipping service so from September all orders sent to the EU will have their customs charges pre-paid, so these kinds of delays will be a thing of the past. In the meantime, I can see that a member of our team is currently in touch with you via email resolving this issue. The Artful Team

“The watercolour box might be one of my favourites so far.. but it is so hard to pick! The pans themselves are super pigmented and just having that at your fingertips is perfect for quick art, plus because of their high quality you can use them for final pieces too! The brushes are AMAZING, favourite brushes ever, i cherish them. Also the paper is my favourite paper, i have a pad from a previous box and am so happy to have a top up. I haven’t read the magazine much yet but a flip through told me there was so much info and inspo in it, plus look at that cover is it gorgeous!! I will never regret joining artful, it being quarterly is better for me cost wise, as well as it meaning i have enough time to experiment with each box before the next arrives. Plus i think if i had a monthly subscription id have an overload of supplies that dont get used. Every box is so unique and varied, and its a great motivator for me, when I receive each one i get a wave of inspiration :)”

“I love the art supplies and the booklet. Sadly shipping times to Germany have increased a lot so I have to avoid spoilers for a few times but I guess that can’t be helped. My favorite box was the linocut ting box but I really enjoyed all of them so far! Even if I already owned most of the supplies for the Marker/lettering box I learned some new ways to use them :)”

“I love love love artful! I've always been really passionate and creative but also with little time, or know-how (largely self-taught). It's like Christmas each time a box arrives, even when it's with mediums I'm already familiar with, it at least means I can stock up on fresh, good quality kit. Having the kits arrive inspire me to get creative again. I'll be taking the watercolour set on my honeymoon with me as it's travel size and I can not wait!”
