“I have to say I am not one for negative reviews, however I have been sorely disappointed in my experience with A Place In The Sun Currency. We purchased a property in Spain, (huge financial decision for us) we were called several times whilst we were waiting for the funds offering unbeatable rates (which I did find a little pushy) but once we had the funds we needed to send immediately for completion, we trusted the name as it’s always very nerve wracking handing over such large sums especially to a foreign country. He not only sent the money late and missed the deadline delaying completion for us and causing further issues, also The “Headlining rate that was promised” did not appear.... and the account manager had sent the wrong funds to our solicitor! Even though I had specified the amount on numerous occasions! It was blatantly obvious he was only after his commission, very arrogant and in my opinion inept. Left with a very bad taste in my mouth, after my experience would NEVER consider using again.”
