“I want to thank Mathew Boyle for working on my behalf, he made the whole process for me easy to use. I am always nervous dealing with people on the phone but he made it feel like I was talking to a friend. This service by place in the Sun was simple and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to but a place abroad I felt I could trust them, and felt confident using them”

“Our appointed manager is Simon Eastman, he was very professional and caring explaining the process and always listen to my request. Simon made the process very easy as im not the best with technology.”

“Must start by shouting aloud of my appreciation of the services and conduct of Naom. A gentleman of the highest order, polite and so caring of both his company's requirements as well as the needs, nervous behaviour and failures of the customer. Quietly put the customer at ease and made the whole process feel like the customer was the only person that mattered. Very very impressed. Other staff with whom I came into contact with, were equally impressive and efficient; well done Place in the Sun.”

“A Place In The Sun gave us the best rate out of the companies we contacted, which included the other major currency traders. The customer service was excellent throughout, with no hiccups and prompt processing and remittance of onward payments. Simon E. was particularly helpful. “I had previously used A Place in the Sun Currency to assist with the transfer of funds in connection to the purchase of my apartment in Spain. So based on my first experience I had no hesitation to approach the company again when we sold the apartment. The currency exchange process was fully explained to me by the customer service team and it was very simple to follow. The team (Simon) was always helpful and provided an excellent service. Would highly recommend them.”

“Following A Place in the Sun’s assumption of Halo Financial’s clients, I was a little nervous about using them for my currency exchange and onward transfer. I have to say though that my experience was very positive and James Tucker was excellent throughout. “I cannot fault any part of the process. My currency dealer was Ashley Finill who was available throughout and really set my mind at ease, especially as we were moving a large sum of money to complete a property purchase. It all happened seamlessly with plenty of checks to ensure our money was safe. Currency order placed and we received the exchange rate quoted unlike some other providers. Highly recommended to all.”

“Really good customer service, someone always phoned me back if my customer relationship manager was not available. Its not the cheapest but for the security and checks they did on my money and where it was going made me feel very secure in the transfer which was more important to me. All good comms throughout and efficient service, I will certainly use them again. Thank you Ashley Finill for amazing service.”

“We became aware of the Currency part of 'A Place in the Sun' through the Manchester Central exhibition in February. Since then Simon and team have made several transfers for us, always efficient and with great attention to detail. The small difference in exchange rate makes a big difference! “Slightly nervous about using a Company to handle our funds from Cyprus, however A Place in the Sun Currency was recommned to us.
