“I can see that they provide a reasonable service but my disappointment is the application data gathering - why do you need my date of birth and employment status etc. Its put me off in this age of data harvesting.”

We are required to gather personal information when people register for our service. This is both to comply with HMRC and FCA regulations on anti money-laundering, where the identity (including date of birth) of all clients must be verified and held by us, and also because once registered, customers are able to order large amounts of currency from us at preferential rates, so we need to know who we are entering into these transactions with!
