“Review Lauren Bucknor I inherited a Spanish villa 5 years ago, sadly it has been nothing but trouble. I was glad to learn of its sale in April. I contacted PITSC and was assisted by Lauren. She was so patient with me and understood the situation I was in.The whole process was overwhelming, she took my hand and walked the journey with me. She broke down the journey and explained clearly what I needed to do. Her colleges were also very helpful when Lauren was unavailable. I am glad to say that this Monday the villa completed and the money is now safely deposited in my English bank account (via German account set up by PITSC to avoid charges) Thank you all at PITSC for helping when I was lost in a situation I knew nothing about. I would use them again happily”

“This was my first experience using A Place in the Sun to transfer funds internationally for me and the whole experience turned out a positive one. I had previously postponed moving my sterling funds while the exchange rate to the Canadian and US dollars was so poor. I appreciated that Simon Eastman periodically touched base with me to let me know how the pound was performing, and when its value improved he was quick to let me know, at which time I decided to go ahead with my first transfer. At every step Simon stayed in close contact, patiently explaining the process to me, answering my questions and offering helpful advice when needed. I was relieved the experience turned out to be so much easier than I imagined, and I am now looking forward to making another international transfer with Simon, when hopefully, the pound's value will grow stronger still!”

“We can highly recommend APITS currency if you are looking to purchase a property abroad. Simon Eastman our account manager was more than helpful throughout the whole process. He was happy to answer any questions and nothing seemed too much trouble for him and other member of the team we contacted. The final transfer of funds was complete in less than a day and there have been no charges by the receiving bank. We will definitely use them again in the future.”

“We were recommended A Place in the Sun Currency by several people. We registered with them and 3 other currency transfer companies. They all kept in touch regularly, but some were a bit heavy selling types. Luke just called every few weeks to see how we were getting on without any pressure and seemed genuinely interested in our purchase. On the day I transferred I checked with all four companies and their rate was by far the best - on a £100k transfer APITS gave us almost 300 Euros more than the second best rate. So the company was great, the rate was fantastic and Luke was amazing. A credit to the company.”

“We were purchasing our first overseas property so this was the first time that we had used this kind of service so wasn’t sure how it would all work. From the very first enquiry Lauren Buckner helped and supported us all along the way. There was no pressure, she kept in regular contact, and when we were ready to transfer she did it all for us as she said she would, we cannot thank her enough for all she did for us. What also set Lauren apart was her genuine interest in what we were doing, we didn’t feel like just another customer. I would definitely recommend anyone to a place in the sun currency.”
