Highly concerned that AW are knowingly sending out faulty items, Shabby Chic Letters are being glued and it is noticeable. I sell these online and there would be serious consequences. Unacceptable Ancient Wisdom After telephoning and explaining the issue we were promised replacements. Which did not happen. Then a week later i get an email asking for a photo, then AW REQUEST ME TO RETURN THEM. I was also told they do not travel Well and that the makers glue them if they break. Where is the Logic in doing that ???

Dear Angela, Thank you for your message. Yes, I do remember you explaining this - thank you and I apologize for any inconvenience. After seeing the photos I decided to offer a collection because we can then use them in our showroom. We do have some customers that purchase stock from us for their own arts and crafts projects and therefore we sometimes manage to sell damaged stock at a discount. It helps local artists and also helps the environment in terms of recycling. As we were closed over the bank holiday weekend, unfortunately, I was not able to book the collection for today for you so if you can let me know what would be the next best day for you, please, that would be great. I usually need 24h notice to book it with the courier. Your replacement items have been added to the current order and should be leaving us today. Once more many apologies for the inconvenience. Very disappointed in service recent months, especially drop shipping. They removed products from the drop shipping service without telling anyone, so we end up selling things they cant actually supply. They havent replied to email sent yesterday lunch time to ask how we can resolve for customer - should we buy wholesale stock for the order? Be nice to know ASAP due to constant dispatch delays. They are unreachable by phone, despite being in same building. They take a very long time to dispatch orders so often late deliviries. Items regularly arrive damaged, poorly packaged or missing. On wholesale side they do not let us know products out of stock they just send a refund - no email or phone call, just refund. Last time it left us short for a customer order so we had to switch the product last minute, doesnt look good on us. Very very disappointed in service from AW. Finally when i said something to customer services today they were unwilling to accept responsibility for the issues when i just called them - the attitude was "well what do you want me to do about it"... when i told her what i wanted her to do (e.g. simply communicate with her colleagues to find an answer) That is not possible. Seriously guys, please sort it out.. we just want to make money together without annoying and losing our customers. Due to the constant issues we are seriously considering selling off all our stock at cost and changing our entire product range so we can find another supplier :( so sad and such a waste of our time and money. I would like to recommend you to friends and colleagues as a good wholesaler to use, not as a waste of time and money. Please guys, i beg you address the issues, please!!

As with the previous person, I also placed an order this week on Tuesday and paid for it there and then, it also just shows awaiting to be picked, this too is my first order and after a phone call yesterday to be told it will be arriving next Wednesday is poor service, in today's age I don't think an 8 day turn around is sufficient enough, I haven't received my items and I don't think that I will be reordering if this is your service, especially to new customers

We've been AW customers for a long time, the customer service from Lucy is appalling! Leaves a bad taste in your mouth! In early December, I asked questions about ingredients in a product and was promised twice, to get an email with information. This is end of January and I am still waiting. I chat with Lucy and this is what she tells me "you can leave a review if you would like to" rather than assist me. Terrible customer service

Placed an order on Friday 6th January 2017 only to be told on Monday 9th January 2017 that it is your first day back from the Christmas break and you have over 300 back orders to deal with which means my order will not be with me till at least next week now. I am not happy. Great way to treat a first time customer......not.

Received a text from Ancient Wisdom stating delivery would arrive Friday 19th August. Cancelled appointments for that day just to receive a text from the carrier on the morning of the 19th stating they had not received the parcel and so could not deliver it. Will now have to re-arrange things for another day hoping that they actually deliver the parcel to the carrier. Very disappointed in the service received.

I have been buying LED lights from this company for the last few years. I had one bad experience but that was resolved immediately. In November 2015 I put in a reorder for my Christmas rush only to be advised they were out of stock and would not be available until end of January / start of February. Stock never arrived. After continuous communication goods eventually arrived into AW warehouse on 22nd March. I tried to place an order only to be told that I had to wait until they were checked and allocated back into stock. Eventually I got an email to say item was back in stock on 02nd April. I immediately placed an order which I received 06th April. I told all my 36 customers who wanted these items that I would have them available from 08th April as I needed to check the stock. Well its just as well I did as all the items were incorrect. I contact AW and they say their supplier sent them wrong items and they cannot resupply for another 3 months. So I make that around 8 months give or take a few weeks. They have done my reputation and business serious damage and now I have to tell 36 customers that it will be another 3 to 4 months before they get their goods. To say im angry is an understatement. By way of compensation they offered me my next delivery free. With VAT that comes to a meager £18.... Shame on you Ancient Wisdom. Peter. Northern Ireland

Hi Peter I'm sorry about your bad experience, not very good I can see. But we are doing our best. I'm in China right now and yesterday got a message about an LED light product being labelled incorrectly in the last order. Unfortunately it seems it was your product :( But we are on it and trying to sort it out. The correct stock will be in the next container if at all possible. In the meantime is there another model we could supply that would do the job? The price is not an issue. Thank you for writing to me about your problem. I appreciate your feedback. I ordered 20 oil burners. When they arrived every single one was faulty. Very poor. Had to return them all. I have been promised a refund. but This doesn't compensate for my list time. I spent ages ordering them. I had to wait in for someone to collect them all day and I've had to find a new supplier. I wasted loads of time. Very disappointing!

I was sadly disappointed with my first purchase experience from AW. On requesting a price for some samples the price was more than it should have been. On asking how the assistant arrived at this price I was told 'very easily'. In fact the total was wrong. I called to confirm prices and to adjust my order - still arrived with wrong order, a damaged product and products I would not buy again. I had been excited as I was looking forward to using AW for my online shop but won't be doing so now. To see what other's experienced Iooked at the AW face book page which confirmed my doubts. Many others had similar complaints. I feel much could have been sorted out by having less cocky sales staff( obviously student or similar) and by simply listening to your customers and addressing others concerns. Genuinely sorry to have to write this low scoring review.

Dear Fran, Thank you for your review and I am sorry you have had a bad experience with us on your sample order. You are correct in saying that the person you spoke with was a student - he is our apprentice and I made sure he receives further training in his telephone manner. Please accept our apologies here. I have had a look at your sample order and can see that the higher price stands from the Small Order Charge on the order. We do charge this when orders below our minimum of £50+VAT are placed, however this does not apply in terms of sample orders so I have refunded your £5+VAT for this. I can see you received a reduced postage charge on the order (we usually charge £7.50+VAT for standard orders). I have also applied a £7.50+VAT credit to your Ancient Wisdom account, which means that your carriage charge will be covered should you wish to give us another try. I purchased the large resin cement mix Buddha and fish frog etc . And asked if they are ok outside, I was told yes they just weather like stone, it also says for outside on the web site. First frost we had and the paint starts blistering and lifting off all over. BUY THIS AT YOUR PERIL. Utter rubbish. Not fit for purpose

We supply extra colour mix to take care of the cracks and blisters that appears over the winter season. Warning, if you are thinking of purchasing Nag Champa Fragrance Oil, which is actually produced in-house by Ancient Wisdom, then don't. The fragrance is absolutely nothing like Nag Champa. I returned one bottle for analysis and AW say that there's nothing wrong with the product and that I should expect it to be "slightly different" to the fragrance of Nag Champa incense. In my book "slightly different" shouldn't end up being nothing like Nag Champa! Needless to say, AW won't replace the product nor refund my P&P for returning the sample. Bottom line is, avoid this product and expect poor service.

Hi Lionel, Thank you for your feedback. There are many versions Nag Champa currently available, Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa is perhaps the most known one. We are sorry about your disappointment with our version of Nag Champa fragrance oil. We actually don't blend the oil ourselves, we are sourcing it from a specialized fragrance oils manufacturer based in the UK.
