They sold the item they were holding for me online in the shop and didn't even let me know. Beware

I purchased a used Tyros 4 on the 18th December. As it was about to be delivered, it was found to have a cracked screen. I was given a Tyros 5 on loan, but the control panel doesn’t work ! I have now been offered a Tyros 4 SE for an additional cost of £150, and am waiting for a delivery to be arranged. Ben has been very helpful, but I still don’t have the keyboard I have paid for !

Poor communication prior to ordering and after sales. I never received a reply to any of my emails except one when I enquired about trading in my original keyboard which I have decided to sell elsewhere. One saving grace is that I’m Happy with my keyboard which really sold itself no thanks to sales at Allegro Music

Took payment but didn't have item in stock. Still showing in stock 2 days later. Better to call before you place your order. Refund processed same day

I sent an e mail some time ago and never received a reply, there may have been a phone call but no message was left so I am not sure. I think if e mails are sent they should be answered as some people do not like talking on the phone

Website stated item was in stock and would be sent within 2days. When item did not arrive I had to phone them and find out about why there was a delay. Initially they would not confirm when item would be delivered but on my pressing them he agreed to phone their warehouse to get confirmation of delivery date which he duly gave to me. I was supposed to receive an e mail from the couriers once the item was on route, which I did not receive, this resulted in a further telephone call to get the information to allow me to track the delivery.

Ordered Kala ukulele online. Received email to say the one they had in stock was damaged and next delivery was due in 5 weeks, would I like to choose alternative? I sent email to ask if they had the next model up in range, they replied that they had. Was told that I would have to pay the difference (would have been good customer service to waive this for the inconvenience as it was only £8 more). As I needed it urgently I reluctantly paid the extra by phone. After 2 days it hadn't arrived so phoned to ask if it had been dispatched and was told it would be sent out that day. Arrived following day in a flimsy cardboard box with one piece of bubble wrap to protect it. Fortunately it was undamaged. Not impressed with level of customer service.

Called the Southend shop and asked if (a) the item I was interested in was on display and (b) if they had it in stock. They said yes and yes, confirming they had one in stock. When I went to the shop it turned out they did not have one in stock. They claimed there must have been a misunderstanding. I ordered the item and was assured it would be delivered Tuesday the following week. On Tuesday I received a call from another department saying they would deliver Wednesday and that they had not been told anything about a Tuesdsy delivery date. It appears this company has either incompetent or dishonest people in its shops. Not a good service. I would not recommend this shop.
