Ordered Kala ukulele online. Received email to say the one they had in stock was damaged and next delivery was due in 5 weeks, would I like to choose alternative? I sent email to ask if they had the next model up in range, they replied that they had. Was told that I would have to pay the difference (would have been good customer service to waive this for the inconvenience as it was only £8 more).
As I needed it urgently I reluctantly paid the extra by phone. After 2 days it hadn't arrived so phoned to ask if it had been dispatched and was told it would be sent out that day. Arrived following day in a flimsy cardboard box with one piece of bubble wrap to protect it. Fortunately it was undamaged. Not impressed with level of customer service.
