Had threats by text and emails saying they would cancel my motorhome insurance due to not receiving licence information , even though I had sent it three times. Never been able to login to my flux portal.

took out 3 months provisional insurance for daughter which was paid in 2 instalments paid at start, and due 2nd payment at start of 2nd month. 2nd payment taken after I informed them she had passed test and asked them to cancel policy which they had Policy doc they sent me when insurance started payment refunded if cancelled after test passed which I did. initially refused all refund even though she had only used 1 out of the 3 months paid for. After an hour on the phone I got this up to a 75 pound refund. Still not happy, have put in information request for telephone logs and terms of conditions they are talking about as do not match my poilcy docs. WILL be putting through finacial onbudsman

I wish I had read the reviews before taking out this policy for my son . Seriously do not make the same mistake as me as other companies who supply the black box there is some lenience , not with Adrian flux they will suspend and cancel your policy and quite happily make it almost Impossible for your teen to get insurance again unless your happy to pay £10,000 ! Trust me unless you can drive and not make a simple mistake ever as every slight mistake goes against you and WILL result in them cancelling the policy even thou your app is telling you your driving great and could possibly save £££‘s on you next renewal!! Do not go near this company you will regret it take my word , if only I’d gone with my gut instinct after taking out the policy and reading the reviews thinking surely it can’t be that bad but I was so wrong . If you’ve took a policy out and are still within your 30 day cancelling period . Cancel it it will save you thousands in the long run as to the big reduction they promise at the end of the year policy Won’t happen because they will of more than likely cancelled it by then .

No mention off black box until after I had paid premium and was told I would have cancellation fees if I cancelled. Poor communication from this firm. High way robbery don’t expect to pay over £5100 for insurance with a black box.

I called for a quote for change of vehicle. They quoted an extra 444 pounds. I then obtained another quote over 300 pounds cheaper. I cancelled with them. I lost 200 pounds for six weeks with them. They said the cover for key loss legal etc was non refundable so I paid a years cover for six weeks. I was never told that. It may be in the small print but I feel like I've been well and truly conned.

Took a policy out with them for my campervan valued at 28500 pounds got it converted so increased the value to 41000 .paid 375 pounds for the original policy they then asked for another £108 for the conversion after arguing they dropped it to 30. Then after talking to there customer services I was advised if I claimed it could be based on basic van value even though I had paid for the new value of 41000.i asked to cancel the policy after 2 months and they originally offered£97 ,I argued and they came back with £205 so I lost £200 for two months.it is now in the hands of the financial ombudsman legal robbery this firm.will never insure with them again

The insurance was fine until you try to make any changes to it, at which point they increase the premium hugely. They increased it simply for moving house by 300%. The customer service is poor to say the least. I would avoid them at all cost. Speaking of cost, they are more expensive than most other insurance providers.

Avoid this company at all cost. They mis-sold me a car insurance policy for which I clearly stated would need cover to commute to a place or work. This was specifically confirmed with their underwriters. I subsequently received the Policy Documents and found that cover for the commute was excluded. I raised this and was advised that they would need to increase the premium. In the meantime I went on a comparison site and found a better level of cover for £700 LESS than their premium. I attempted to cancel the Policy and they tried to charge me £35. Adrian Flux are complete rip off artists

Absolutely useless! Changing my insurance from modified to standard on a brand new car and the price was ridiculous. wish i hadn't wasted my time and dont understand why the person the other end of the phone did also! I'm shocked have been with them for years, was never a painless process. Always on hold, useless staff, really sneaky when you actually need them. you get allot of extras but do you really need that... you need good service which Flux to not offer!

By far the worst insurer I've had. Buying the policy in the first instance was a hassle - Adrian Flux wait until after you have bought and paid for the policy to then ask you to give them documentary evidence for just about everything (NCB/time driving/driving license num/shoe size etc). Had they asked for all this up front before selling me the policy I would have just chosen the next cheapest insurer, as I expect they know most people would, hence waiting until they have your money to spring this. They seem to employ exclusively teenage chavs on their phone lines unable to depart from a call script - or at least this has been my experience on each of the four occasions I have telephoned. Sold vehicle and cancelled policy after less than five months, and Adrian Flux insist that no money is repayable (most other insurers who I have been with in this situation refund at least part of the premium). Teenage chav on the phoneline did however note that even though they would not refund, the policy could be "transferred" to another vehicle. After waiting on the phone for best part of half an hour to arrange transferring to another vehicle, teenage chav came back saying additional charge for transferring policy to other vehicle would be almost £700, despite Adrian Flux themself only charging £250 for a brand new 12 month policy on that vehicle. Overall, the most unhelpful and unprofessional insurer I have come across. Even if slightly cheaper up front, not worth the hassle. I will not be using again.

polite staff and helpful....but the flux score/blackbox is a recipe for disaster, my son picked up speeding just turning into carparks constantly even though he was sticking to speed limit, this triggered 3 strike system which isn't strikes its emails with "Cautions your flux score was negative yesterday " ....he got 3 of which some were inaccurate anyway as some of the driving was shown in a field!!!!! i have had a response on trust pilot but not holding my breath, he did break the rules a few times but avoid this fluxscore system as its impossible for anyone to drive to the level they expect. one example was when he got a red flag was a road from 40 down to 30 which has speed cameras and i was in the car hes adhered to the reduction in speed but flagged speeding...got told it takes a reading every 100yd so thats obviously the problem...it inaccurate...no hes got no transport until i find a good company....you live and learn!

Been royally ripped off. A non fault accident claim (never in dispute, and the other drivers insurers had agreed to pay for the damage to my car) overlapped the renewal of my insurance. Adrian Flux advised that as it was effectively unsettled they would insure me as if I was at fault and reimburse me when it was settled. So after I had repeated assurances that they would fully reimburse me, I accepted a massive hike in renewal fee of about £800. A few weeks later the claim was settled so I was looking forward to a nice premium return. I received a couple of hundred back. My request for a proper refund of the excess was met with "your premium has gone up this year". Absolute thieves in my opinion. I'd give then a minus number of stars in the review if I could.

LEARNER DRIVER INSURANCE Do not take out insurance with this BROKER, I wanted a couple of months cover for my daughter to drive her own car in between driving lessons, I told the guy she had her test booked in a couple of weeks, (she failed the first but passed second time) they knew perfectly well she would not require an annual insurance but still quoted £373.70. I was not made aware they were brokers neither was I informed that there would be multiple cancellation fees and deductions. Therefore this policy was MIS SOLD After 66 days of cover £188.45 was deducted, this includes Trinity Lanes (the insurance company) cancellation fee of £28.00. From this refund Flux deducted their commission of £22.22 and £30 cancellation fee. Leaving my daughter with £72.23 refund the cost of 66 days cover was £301.67 which equates to £4.57 a day and not the 85p a day as they claim on their web site. At no time when I took this policy out did the operator mention a short term monthly policy •Cover can be taken out on a month-by-month basis, so learners only pay for the cover they need before passing their test. quote taken from their web page I am now having to chase them for the refund

I recently insured my classic Daimler which has an LPG conversion with Adrian Flux. All seemed to be straight forward, surprisingly, as I even asked if the LPG conversion was an issue and if there would be any complications with the insurance to which they replied there would be no problem, they would just make a note of it, so I insured with them for the competitive sum of £125. However, after returning from holiday which did take me over the 14 day cooling off period, I was presented with an LPG declaration form requiring details of registration and an LPG certificate which my vehicle does not have. I contacted Adrian Flux only to receive an extremely negative response. I clearly stated that at no time was I advised that this was needed and required for this policy especially as I did query the LPG conversion during the initial call. They told me I should have automatically known that they would need this and hence they could do nothing about it. Their attitude on the phone was arrogant, uncaring and very dismissive. During much of the call to query / complain, I was spoken over and not listened to. Not only that, but as I decided to cancel my insurance with them, they then told me I would only receive £3 back as this was the refund after administration costs etc even though the policy was only about 3 weeks old. They were also now telling me that this was the amount due back from the £70 which was the insurance premium - the additional £55 I paid was their fee!! In other words, the premium was £125 unless you wish to cancel or claim some back for whatever reason and then it is £70! I told them that this figure was definitely never disclosed to me at all which they totally denied. I am a very enthusiastic classic car owner and user and consequently have used a few classic car insurers for my 5 very different cars over many years. I have never had any problems at all in the past and never experienced such poor customer service. I will NEVER return to or contact Adrian Flux ever again and I hope people reading this and the other bad reviews will do the same and indeed tell others. There are many other insurance companies /brokers out there so we can do without such poor service!

Advised I changed address, provided my payment details when called, then Adrian Flux simply cancelled my policy as I hadn't paid £77.03. I simply missed the letters about this charge (assuming they were confirming my address change),. If Adrian Flux Insurance hadn't failed in their admin and had taken the payment when they called me & I gave card details, this wouldn't have happened! End result I've lost 1/3 of my annual paid in full policy and I'm still being charged £77.03.

This company act in an unfair manner to the customer in a number of ways. 1) I was given a quote with a 400% increase on the premium when I changed my address to just down the road from where I lived. 2) The policy had only just been renewed when cancelled and they kept 50% of my payment in so called 'fees'. Totally unacceptable and referred to the FCA.
