“I appreciate you sending a replacement part. However, you missed the whole point on this issue! In more than one occasion you failed to acknowledge the fact that my order was supposed to be a surprise birthday present. It should have been delivered complete on time and fit for purpose. At least one of the above was at breach in this transaction! ATD made more than one mistake on my order which has caused distress and inconvenience to me and to other members of my family. You should refer to the regulator’s handbook which says you can award a fair compensation that’s proportionate reflection of the impact a business’s action had on their customer before typing your next email! Mrs Young-Guesmi”

“When we unpacked, on Saturday, the various parcels left by the courier, it was apparent that the main pack of screws etc, 'fastener list' (Wood pack 5), was totally missing. This meant there was no way to put the Climbing Cube Play Centre together at all. Contacted manufacturer and they are sending us the missing pack.”

“Attracted by competitive price and free next day delivery. But the delivery didn't work out - one of four boxes not delivered. Promised to have the missing item shipped via AM delivery for the next day. No sign of the item, nobody answering phones at Activity Toys Direct (perhaps understandable given it is the weekend) or Tufnells. Not sure who is responsible but it has been a very disappointing experience and I'll be interested to see if /when the missing item finally arrives...”

“I ordered a swing set on a Saturday for delivery the following Wednesday. 3 of the required 4 packages were delivered on the Thursday. Activity Toys said it was a problem within TNT. It is now Monday of the following week (9 days after placing the order) and the missing item has still not been delivered. I have contacted Activity Toys who have apologised and said they will get a replacement delivered tomorrow. The annoying part is that I had set aside days of last week to erect the swing set.”

“I did not know that they did not deliver to Northern Ireland which is part of the UK. The order was cancelled and I only found out when I received a refund via my Paypal account.”

Hi, we are sorry to hear of this review but the non-delivery to Northern Ireland is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions and the Delivery section of the website.

“Hi. Could do with being notified that the order is in and then that it has been dispatched and delivered. Found it in my back yard! Also, it would be ideal if we could have some assembly instructions and an inventory. Can't tell you about the actual product itself until we have the latter documents so that we can put it up.”

“On delivery, both boxes were split / torn. There were several bars of the trampoline which were bent and had to be hammered to straightened. The delivery driver added that to his register as damaged. This was a very poor experience.”

“Arrived in a battered box. Some of the pieces didn't fit together properly when constructing the kitchen. Disappointing really considering the price!”

“Fixings are decent quality but had expected the timber to be seasoned and a good fit. The timber post diameters are over machined compared to size of the metal. This creates sideways movement.”

We're sorry to hear that you've had issues with your swing. Regarding the cracks, Soulet swing sets use natural wood, which means that sometimes cracks will appear in the swing. When the wood gets wet it will swell and fill the cracks, and in the dry summer heat they may crack again. This does not affect the structural integrity of the product. We are however always happy to examine the wood if you are still unhappy, and address any issues that you may have with a product that is still under warranty. “Ordered swing which arrived next day which was great but disappointed in the fact that when putting it together the second screw actually snapped when my husband was screwing it in. Cheap and nasty screws. Also the wooden poles were badly split”

We're very sorry that you did not receive your item on time. We have been in contact with our account manager at TNT who has informed us that your item was misrouted yesterday and is the cause of you not receiving your item. and TNT have assured us that your item should be deliver your item today before 6pm.
