“ACL (Cordula, Hannah and the team) are a serious force. What a fantastically, friendly, knowledgeable bunch. Key words for people reading this review are CIB Life and Pensions, Rowanmoor and The Resort Group (Dunas Beach). Explanation of a very very complicated case in law in such a way as to be understandable, their expertise and understanding is invaluable especially as all the complicated jargon was absolutely lost on me. The Rowanmoor case is still ongoing but I am very hopeful of a positive outcome from the FSCS. The Resort Group "investment" was a clear scam - unregulated as it turns out and ACL fighting your corner is a winner. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Anyone reading this and needing help with such dodgy companies as mentioned you Need ACL Consultancy on your side!!”

“I can’t believe we have had a payment through the FSCS but I had faith in what we knew was injustice with my investments. After three and a half years ACL were successful in getting a financial settlement . We had to include bailiffs as portofina would not pay me but with the tenacity of Cordula and the team at ACL they had to pay me my investment , interest , and compensation . Without the help of Cordula and ACL I am sure I would never have received any money I am more than pleased with the payout and am more than happy to pay the invoice that has been sent for all the hard work that they have done. . I would recommend to anyone to use this service because they never give up until we got a positive result . I am currently giving feedback to the FSCS for all they have done too . Once again thank you Cordula for all you have done .”

“Having watched my pension amount deteriorate and after getting absolutely no help from Novia Financial I researched for what help I could get from elsewhere. I came across ACL and after reading good reviews , I contacted them. Within an hour I was contacted by Cordula ( Cord) who assured me all was not lost and carefully explained the process. This was probably about 9 months ago. I filled in all the paperwork Cord sent me and Cord kept in regular touch advising me of what was happening and what was likely to happen. In Dec/Jan she called to say that my claim can now go to the FCS but not to expect an outcome for possibly 12 months . Yesterday , Cord called to say she had received a letter from FCS saying that they would be paying me an amount that far exceeded my expectations. Obviously I was delighted as having just passed retirement age this makes a massive difference to my future plans. Next day ( today ) the payment went into my account. I am very very happy! If you are in this situation please do not hesitate to contact ACL and if you are receive a phone call from Cord then you are in the best of hands Thanks Cord x”

“First of all, we would recommend anyone to discuss a potential claim with Cordula and the ACL team. We got in touch when we found out that our IFA had been placing our pension investments in UCIS which were unsuitable for us as unsophisticated investors and had been hiding the truth from us for many years: we were feeling stupid and embarrassed. Our confidence was at an all time low and we thought we had little chance of redress. Cordula pointed out where we had two realistic prospects for claims and also gave us reason for some optimism, without promising anything. Clearly, they understand the rules that apply to IFAs but also seem to have a proper appreciation for how the regulators and Ombudsman interpret them, and so pick out the details that make a difference to the strength of a case. So while we were pretty skeptical to start with, Cordula kept us informed about progress, and we gained confidence in her rapidly. It also became clear that we could not have made a strong case for ourselves without that critical knowledge. The first complaint has now been successful and we are waiting for the second to be adjudicated. Cordula has been great throughout, keeping us informed and fighting our corner with kindness and compassion. A breath of fresh air.”

“I can’t begin to express my delight and surprise at how quickly, easily and effectively Cordula and her team dealt with my claim. They have been ultra-professional at every stage of the process, very communicative and extremely pleasant. I was devastated to find that my pension investment with Rowanmoor was basically worth nothing and spent a weekend worrying about how to sort this out. After researching the debacle that is Dunas Beach Resort and the problems that lots of other investors have had in the selling and administration of this scheme, ACL kept appearing as a company who could help. I am by nature a sceptic of claims handling companies and have avoided them in the past, but the reviews on ACL’s site seemed genuine and true, and these coupled with the fact that ACL actually advertise their fees for a successful claim convinced me to fill in the contact form to see if we could do anything to sort this out. So, Cordula contacted me the following day and we had a very informative discussion during which Cordula repeatedly advised me that based on the information I had given her, there was a possibility of a claim against the original IFA and the pension company but stressed to me that there was no need to engage a claim handler as the work could be done by myself and save the fees. How refreshing that there was no hard sell, no false promises and no guarantee of any recompense. Unsurprisingly I opted to pursue a claim through ACL and was kept informed of all developments throughout the process. A successful claim was made to FSCS regarding my mis-sold pension and I have been paid out in a matter of a few short months. I would not hesitate to engage ACL to handle any further claims - so easy and stress free. In conclusion, if you have reservations about engaging a claims handling company to guide you through and handle the mess your pension may be in, have no reservations in contacting ACL - you have nothing to lose and potentially a lot to be thankful for.”

“I cannot recommend Cord & her team highly enough. After finding out in 2018 that all my pension fund had been misinvested & then the company went into administration, I thought I'd never see my money again. Initially, I was recommended another claims company, who wasted nearly 2 years of my time with zero success. Then, thankfully, I was directed to Cord. Right from the start she put me at ease, explained the process to me & also was realistic with timescales. I was dubious with having an unsuccessful experience with my previous claim company. I needn't have worried. Cord was thorough, efficient & kept me informed at every step, even when there was nothing to report she would call to let me know that. Cord successfully achieved an initial compensation claim from the FSCS of £85k. However, as that wasn't the full amount of my loss, she then persued a second claim & was again successful in achieving a payment for the remainder. Outstanding!!!! There are many claims companies, all charging much more than Cord. If you find yourself in the same awful predicament that I did, do not hesitate - contact Cord & her team. Her advice costs nothing & she will be honest & tell you if she thinks your case is viable or not. Thank you so much Cord (& the team) for removing the worry & making a stressful & complicated process seem straightforward. Ultimately achieving 100% success. I'm forever grateful.”

“I was unfortunately in a position where i list all my pension in a sipp scheme that was not fully explained to me. I had various companies saying they could recover my monies but there fees were high and wanted payment up front there were other's that wanted to do it on a no win basis but failed to deliver I was very lucky that i had a call from ACL and it was a breath of fresh air Cord was very professional and extremely friendly and reassuring I myself was resigned to a complete loss. but they went through everything in very great detail and they worked extremely hard and had many knock backs but there persistence and dedication was rewarded with a reward for me and they managed to recoup my pension money a fantastic result I cannot recommend ACL Consultancy Ltd even if you have been told theres no chance give them a try”

“The service was excellent. Such a lovely firm - professional with the human touch - very rare these days. They are extremely knowledgeable about the different types of pensions and advised (in my case) to process the claim myself without cost and gave instructions to do so. I would highly recommend them as an authentic place to go for pension compensation advice.”

“We had given up all hope of ever seeing our investment again but I decided to give ACL a try. We were told from the start it would be a long process and it was! It was also complicated and we ran into lots of barriers and I was skeptical at times but Cord never gave up! We could never have done this on our own and we were not far off being out of time to claim for our miss sold SIPP. Cord kept fighting and kept us informed and reassured throughout. She became more like a friend to us, always so helpful. Cord got us back the money that we had lost and it was life changing. We paid off our mortgage, all our debts, bought a holiday home and still have enough savings to both cut our working hours to part time. Contacting ACL was the best decision I ever made and I will never forget Cord and how she truly changed our lives. “I cannot tell you how awful I felt when I realised that all of my pension savings had been lost in an overseas property deal. It was a deal that was high risk and totally inappropriate for me – I should have been advised against it by the financial people I dealt with but I was not. Instead I was left feeling stupid, ashamed and very few people were willing to help. I’d already started to process a small claim with the FCSC on my own (extremely hard & stressful work) and thought that was all I would get, certainly only a small fraction of what I’d lost. When I first contacted Cordula at ACL Consulting I doubted that I would get any more money back but she assured me that it was possible and she acted quickly on my behalf to ensure my claim went through within the deadline. Last week she called to let me know that the FSCS had completed my claim. In total I have received nearly £120,000 compensation. My initial claim made on my own was for £43,000 so Cordula and ACL have won me an additional £77,000 compensation. I am truly delighted with this. However, I am even more delighted with the kindness, compassion and understanding I’ve received from Cordula throughout this whole process. She made me realise that I wasn’t stupid, she took an interest in me and listened to my concerns and fears. Yes, this is ACL’s business but Cordula has a passion to support people like me and put right these morally indefensible acts that take money from the unsuspecting. If you are in a similar situation having Cordula working for you is the best thing you can do, not only for your bank balance but for your sanity too!”
