I received a phone call the next day where details of the collection were taken and the process of scraping and registration with the DVLA explained. The vehicle was collected on time and the money placed into my account promptly. Great service by all the team made the process simple and hassle free.”

“Unfortunately my 22 yr old workhorse failed the MOT and wasn't roadworthy. I didn't want to put it on an auction site, 1) for the endless questions and hassle,2) I thought it safer to be taken off the road completely. A quick search soon bought up Abbey cars. It was a very simple website ,and very easy to get a quote for collection. As soon as the quote was accepted,I had a phone call from Jim who gave me a collection date and time ,then a follow up email . Very good ,clear ,quick communication. On the day of collection,the driver phoned me 30 mins beforehand to confirm, he was pleasant, polite and professional. I had to show driving licence as ID , within 5 mins my car was loaded ,secured and taken away . Within 10 mins the disposal certificate was emailed and the money was in my bank account. A quick, painless process and I can rest easy knowing my car is being recycled. Would thoroughly recommend”
