“I’m 88 and live alone. I like my food and cook for myself So far I’m very pleased with my Oder of alternative meats. I’m treating myself to trying one a week The rare bread pork chop was the best I’ve ever tasted and the Mangalitza rib steak was delicious ( my daughters had a fit when they saw the fat, they didn’t want me to eat it ). As I’ve just been diagnosed pre diabetic I did tell them that at least half of the fat was good fat. I’ll be ordering again In the future but obviously not very often as I’m only buying for myself There are lots that I want to try So thank you for giving me the opportunity to try out and have quality meats, game, and poultry Yours truly Lucille Nay”

“I ordered a selection of veal products - all excellent quality. On;y issue was with delivery as Courier had technical problems however Alternative Meats agreed refund for a couple of spoilt items and also refunded postage - good customer service.”

“The veal escalopes were nice and tasty but a bit tough, however that could have been my cooking and resting etc. The Mangalitza pork was delicious and tender although I'm not sure it was that much different to normal pork tenderloin from my butcher. All that said we ate every last bit and it arrived promptly and well packed and chilled. Will definitely be back for more. Thanks”

“We had free range, loin joint which was better than supermarket meat but not by a lot. The joint came from a small pig and the fat to lean ratio was too high. The pig should have been allowed to grow for another month or two.”

“The Wagyu flat iron steaks were as tasty and enjoyable as ever. Great quality of meat, full of flavour as well as good portions. I have ordered these before therefore it is good to know they are consistent. However in the past they were not frozen. This time they were! I know there is an indication on the website they could be, but that was a big disappointment.”

“Ordering and delivery on the date requested was very good. The veal cutlets looked very good. Unfortunately, one of the cutlets was tough and spoilt the overall experience.”
