“This was the first time ordering from here and have no complaints with them, the problem lies with the delivery company/driver, despite leaving clear instructions for the package to be left safe, out of sight in a specified place the driver ignored this and left the parcel by the front door in full view of anyone walking past the property which is not acceptable when they had been told what to do !”

“The meat was well prepared and even though I had to travel some 60 miles to get it, through no fault of Alternative Meats, the goods were ready for me to take away, I do have to say, though this is a personal opinion, Mangalitza Pork is not for me, though my som enjoyed it. The rest of the goods were more than tasty, especially the Black pudding Sausage. Thank you for your efforts in supplying me with the meat I ordered.”

“Local butchers are closing down and sadly we are forced to become more reliant on supermarkets. So it is a real joy to be able to buy produce that supermarkets don’t stock such as offal. Thank you Alternative Meats!”

“Pies filled all expectations. I note however that the delivery charge was applicable to the Scottish highlands.It is a VERY long way from Selkirk to the Highlands,a fact that you might like to point out to your delivery company. A small point which will not stop me ordering from you in future”

“Wagyu short ribs, excellent, beyond expectations, Wagyu flank steak tough no matter if cooked rare, medium rare or medium but incredible flavour, Wagyu beef tongue also of outstanding quality.”

“Unlike other sellers, who sell the caul in 1 kilo frozen blocks , this was sold in 200g amount. This was just right for covering 3 terrines. It is excellent.”

“As expected. My local butcher does a good flavour faggot, but says his supplier can't get caul fat. Hence had to get our own and wrap before cooking. Makes the faggot back to a traditional item with not a dry outside. Thankyou. Will have to reorder soon. Graham.”

Thank you for taking the time to review. I always personally email every customer with a suggested delivery date as we do not intentionally have an automated system so we can keep close contact with every customer. We are always open to requests for alternative delivery dates if we have the stock.

“The Mangalitza Dry Cured Bacon was excellent, The Tamworth x Welsh White Dry Cured Middle Cut Bacon was tough didn't matter how i cooked it it was tough. The Outdoor Pork Loin on the Bone was very nice,a bit lacking in flavour maybe due to the small piece i bought so next time i'll try a larger joint.”

Thank you for your feedback, we haven't received any other complaints about the Tamworth Bacon but we will certainly try some more here at AM as we do not like to have disappointed customers. I have refunded you for this and do hope to see you again soon.
