“I have been to the Pirates Cave chandlery several times as I refurbish a Freedom 35 at Swale Marina buying items to treat teak inside and out, antifoul the boat, polish the hull, etc. I also ordered some clothing on line and collected from the chandlery. I always received exemplary service and useful advice from all members of staff. I will continue to shop at Pirates Cave for more items including sea toilet and stove.”

“The process of buying my inflatable boat and pump started with the website, with which I easily accessed the products I was interested in. Having done that there was some questions which were quickly answered over the phone. There was a couple of issues, which were unclear, like the ability of the pump to be plugged into the mains. This was soon answered by the phone receptionist referring to others who quickly answered. The staff I spoke to knew their stuff and were pleasant to deal with. The order and delivery were smooth and the boat arrived in a couple of days, brilliant!”

“I'm delighted with the service received from Pirate's Cave. The item was well-priced and arrived in good time and in sturdy packaging. The aftercare was good,too, with a real person on the end of the phone. We get asked to review everything nowadays but that made a difference.”

“I bought some boat shoes from Pirates Cave Chandlery because they were cheaper than the manufacturer's website sold them for. They arrived with two days and were good quality. I noticed a minor scratch on the sole of the shoe and some scuffing on the inside of the same shoe but given the 30% discount for a pair of shoes that were otherwise brand new I considered myself lucky. I would recommend.”

“Whilst the item is perfect well priced and exactly as should be. The delivery was more than poor. I ordered before the 1pm cut off and didn't receive next working day delivery as advertised. I complained and had no response. To top it all off, the currier used dumped £2k of outboard on my front door step and got my car to sign for delivery. I am lucky a friend picked it up for me but am disgusted by the delivery service and would not order from here again!”
