Micro Bit is an amazing way to introduce kids 8+. It helps in introducing robotics and programming concepts. As the kids grow up they can use microbit to build simple robots to complex IoT projects. Great and amazing product.

microbit is a super product for kids to learn programming (even for the grownups too). I've used it to code together with my son and it was fun for both of us. I like that it has number of sensors like light, sound and accelarometer, which are really nice to work with various projects. Only issue, it's not product related though, more related to microcode platform, as it fails to estimate what would be the code size when compiled and put on the microbit. as it has very limited memory, sometimes it fails to upload large code scripts as it goes above it's memory (storage) limit

Excellent update to this great microcontroller, adding sound which is the thing I usually play about with!

Great little device. I’ve had a lot of fun so far with all the inbuilt features. It’s also very easy to use, especially if you use the desktop site to go with it. There’s an app as well, but I find it less easy to navigate and a bit fiddly.

Great little gadget - my son's learning to program as I did on a ModelB when I was his age.

Fantastic product that enables coding to become an interactive physical thing. Sometimes coding can seem to be a very abstract concept but the micro:bit allows interaction that can be seen, projects are easy to complete and you can get as complicated as you like. Brilliant addition to our learning materials
