I bought this as I'm learning the 'Rust' language and the v2 micro:bit is used in a tutorial on embedded programming. Looks a really nice little board to experiment on - lots of sensors etc. Having fun with it. As usual it arrived next day after ordering - PiHut are always (subject to postal strikes) prompt in despatch/delivery.

I bought this for my son after hearing he was using them at secondary school. Really accessible and entertaining device with cleverly designed progression from tinkering with "blocks" to programming in Python or JavaScript. Highly recommend! Excellent service and delivery from The Pi Hut as always.

Micro Bit is an amazing way to introduce kids 8+. It helps in introducing robotics and programming concepts. As the kids grow up they can use microbit to build simple robots to complex IoT projects. Great and amazing product.

microbit is a super product for kids to learn programming (even for the grownups too). I've used it to code together with my son and it was fun for both of us. I like that it has number of sensors like light, sound and accelarometer, which are really nice to work with various projects. Only issue, it's not product related though, more related to microcode platform, as it fails to estimate what would be the code size when compiled and put on the microbit. as it has very limited memory, sometimes it fails to upload large code scripts as it goes above it's memory (storage) limit
