“Bought this for my daughter to learn technology and a bit of coding. She's loving it. Already writing messages and her interest in tech has increased 5x.”
“We are loving our kids getting into coding. Our 10 year old is mostly teaching herself using the resources available online and we've now bought it for her 11-year old cousin. Such a great device and fun way for kids to learn. Also seems very expandable with different bits to add to it so I think it could keep her engaged for many years to come.”
“I got this mainly to test the wired communications between two V2 microbits. Testing between V1 and V2 is a bit more difficult since some of the features like the extra touch button is missing from V1. Adapting the code from a 2 button microbit to a 3 button microbit is a bit of a mess since I have to have 2 instances of the editor running on different browsers with two different bits of code. Basically, there isn't enough screen real estate. Just having one editor with two V2s, is a lot easier.”
“My nephew and I wanted to make a bluetooth keyer (a chord keyboard - imagine you can type full speed on a device no larger than your hand). In just one day's hack, we created a working prototype.”
