“Had a lovely couple of nights in this genuinely dog friendly hotel. Staff were fantastic, always accommodating and friendly. Hotel is perfectly placed for Roanhead beach, and with easy access to local places of interest. Rooms were a great size, and the food was great and always cooked to order. Will look forward to visiting again.”

“Hotel food was very nice and are dog never went hungry with the free dish of treats left on the table for her . All the staff were great and friendly it was only a 20min walk to the beach.”

“The Dunes is a lovely dog friendly hotel. The staff are friendly and my dogs were made to feel welcome with sausages for breakfast and a jar of treats on the table. The hotel is modern and the decor tasteful. Our room was a good size with a modern bathroom. Roanhead beach is a 10 minute drive and great for letting your dogs have a run around.”

“Absolutely lovely place, considering they were under staffed, they provided a superb and friendly service from start to finish. We had Good Friday night and it’s was the best food I have had out in a very very long time.”

“Nice hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms adequate those bed was a queen size but was advertised as a king when booking. Food was okay but not worth the price they were charging. Staff were very pleasant just an overall lack of them.”

“Good location hotel not quite set up for a large number of dogs but I think they will learn food good at hotel staff good room ideal size for our two dogs overall value for money and would consider staying again”

“Indoor staff very friendly and welcoming. Room good although dog bed fit for small dogs only. Food reasonable. Appeared to have a shortage of stall over the weekend. Total lack of outdoor staff. Big wedding party on the Friday night. Broken glass outside still there when we left on the Sunday. Not good for either children or dogs”
