Harina Semolosa de Trigo is a special frying flour made from 100% Andalucian Wheat Flour made by Las Panaeras Sevillanas outside Seville since 1975. This flour is the authentic flour used to fry calamares and make proper pescadito frito! Our Harina Semolosa de Trigo has the quality of leaving very little residue in the frying oil when frying fish or other foods, this way it reduces the amount of burnt particles floating in the oil or sticking to foods when draining them out. Las Panaeras Sevillanas is the most popular Spanish frying flour in the market due to the quality of the wheat and the traditional methods used to produce the flour which is now available in the UK. 1Kg Bag / Once opened, stored in a container in a cool and dry place / 12 months shelf life

We love Berenjenas con miel when we're in Spain, having bought some miel de cana on our last visit I've tried to replicate the dish several times without success. Using the Harina flour and following the Basco recipe has been foolproof on each attempt. Thank you Basco, whilst we can't get out to Spain we're re-living our favourite authentic receipes at home.

I bought this flour to go with the fantastic squid we got from Basco. It’s just perfect to make that crispy tasty calamari. Just add some paprika and cayenne pepper and away you go. 5 star product.
