“This mini raytemp is accurate, quick and easy to use. For the most accurate reading you need to measure a flat surface e.g. a preheated baking stone . The walls/floor of my (fairly old) oven aren't necessarily the same temperature as the 'middle'. It doesn't work so well on curved surfaces like cake tins.”
