“It’s not cheap, but it’s absolutely the best option for home baking. I was using a Dutch oven before I bought the Challenger, and it has seriously improved my results. The extra size is great for a couple of mini baguettes or a batard. The thick cast iron produces huge oven spring, and transferring the dough in and out is so much easier than a Dutch.
Make sure to leave the lid in the oven when you’re browning the loaf, if your making a second loaf afterwards.”
