“I say well "worth the money" because the price is a little intimidating - at least it was for me. But I'm glad I didn't let that put me off in the end. Beats a casserole and even the cloche hands down for ease of use and excellent rise and crust caramelisation. And that perfect crust just tastes so good. The only possible negative for some people might be that it is extremely heavy. But the handles are well designed to make handling easy.”
“Amazing invention by Jim Challenger ! Have used it everyday since it arrived and baking some really great loaves of bread. Definitely worth the investment!”
“Nothing to say about the product but lack of communication on the delivery timing. I've got the product almost 40 days after the purchase and no spontaneous update was provided on the modified delivery date. In addition I've been forced to pay 182 Euros of customs duties and VAT which was actually a very bad surprise (especially if compared with the price of the pan. Looking forward to receiving your remarks.”
“I received this as a gift.
It has exceeded expectations and makes a beautifully risen loaf. No need to treat or wash the pan, 25 minutes with the lid on, spray again and 20 minutes lid off.
A lot of money for sure but this is an heirloom if any of the children finally learn to cook.............”
“Excellent service, as usual. I made my best sourdough loaf using the Challenger Bread Pan. I was a bit worried it might be another ‘gadget’ that got lost at the back of the cupboard but it is well worth the money and will be well-used for years. Customers should be aware, though, that it is very heavy.”
